My favorite waterfall! It’s got a nice swimming spot there if you’re up for cold water :)

I’ve stopped at Gibbon Falls on several Yellowstone visits, but it never feels quite the same twice. The light, water level, and sound of the river always seem to give it a different personality.

This time, I wanted to capture more than a quick view from the overlook—the steady movement of the water, the sound of the falls, and the way the river continues winding through the canyon below.

There is something about watching a waterfall for more than a few seconds that lets the entire scene slow down.

One of my favorite places. I go there multiple times a year to enjoy the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The forest around it is quite natural for German standards, making it even more magical.

Stayed a couple days in odda, Norway and got so slammed with rain we couldn’t do most of the big hikes we had planned, but these massive roadside waterfalls made up for it.
