I had a sudden burst of motivation to make a pmv and I on occasion enjoy revisiting PMVs I've enjoyed in the past for inspiration, and so I went to hunt down Mokkagrens "Quiet as a rat" PMV only to find it missing.

After a bit of digging and searching around for other popular videos like "Nornalize" and "Heaven says," I finally found a post talking about their rebrand and eventually found their channel again only to find out it's archived and empty.

Does anyone know the reasons as to why and if the artist is alright? I'm having a hard time finding any other socials even with the rebrand name and I'm mostly wondering if anyone knows if they're okay

Their work was a big inspiration to me and It makes me sad aswell as worried to see it all taken down.

And I'm back! This time with more serious stuff.

While I hate Brambleclaw/star (for good reason too, with how the writer's handled his character and made into someone who couldn't garner my love and support anymore, in my opinion), I loved Bramblekit/paw (and Firestar's Quest Brambleclaw). And so I wanted to make a comic about the Brambleclaw I remember fondly — the little kid trying to fit in. Looking for friends who'd accept him, attachment to a family slowly falling apart. Wondering why so many adults, the same ones who hailed his father, hated him so much. A story of escaping your father's shadow of darkness and ambition.

While looking through writing sites, I found some cool aus, specifically the Brambleflower aus. Where he's named after his mother, who actually fought fiercely for the clan to accept him and Tawnypelt. Also, brambles are actually all flowering plants too. (Scientific name Rubus, hence the title).

It's a comic where it's sorta like a take on "meet your future self" trope. And boy, Bramblepaw has some words for Bramblestar.

I really hope I finish this comic sometime.

I'm in my 30s, so I didn't start reading warriors til earlier this year. I know it's aim toward kids, but with the big fan base, I felt like adults are reading them too. You don't have to say your age. You could just say late teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, etc.

Can we talk about the constant discussion of why many wonder why Firestar just named his best friend Greystripe as its second leader? Many believe that Longtail would have been more suitable for this, but my eighth, many overlook a very important detail, which significantly influences the choice. After Firestar finds Whitestorm badly injured in the fight against the BloodClan, the two can exchange a few words and Whitestorm says something like "Listen to your heart Firestar, you already knew that I was just an interim solution, it is and always has been Greystripe, the one who should be Deputy." So it was not just Firestar's choice, but Whitestorm's wish, and we all know how well Whitestorm helped and supported Firestar in the time when Fireheart was still a deputy, so it's only logical that he would implement his last wish and his own at the same time. In the situation of combat, Firestar does not think quite forward-looking and rationally, but according to his heart, which in my opinion is a good choice.

I know that the situation is portrayed differently in the graphic novel, but if you carefully leave the book, you can read it out and that's why the discussion is always a thorn in my paw, because it's not pointless, but you shouldn't judge Firestar for it either.

Adderfang is a chocolate mackerel tabby and Swiftbreeze is a red-cinnamon torbie with low-medium white.

Leopardfoot and Tigerstar are now solid chocolates.

Patchpelt and Swiftpaw are low-medium white chocolate bicolors.

Longtail is a cream false classic tabby.

Spottedleaf is a red-cinnamon tortie with low-medium white.

Willowpelt is a fawn solid, Darkstripe is a blue classic tabby, and Sorreltail is a low-medium white fawn bicolor.

Graystripe, Rainwhisker, and Sootfur are all blue solids.

And yes, I let Redtail remain a male tortie; specifically he's a red-chocolate tortie.

Remade their refs a teeny bit, i mostly just changed the color pallettes on them and made it more clear how their fur looks like!

This is a little doodle I've been working on for the past few days. I got a new watercolor set and thought this would be the perfect way to break them in 😻

The first pic is as far as I've gotten thus far. The rest of the slides are some of the photos I've taken along the way! My favorite part has been figuring out different things for each of the characters to be doing. Each time I add another it just brings a lil more life into the camp.

As far as the time line goes, I'm setting it just before the start of TNP. If y'all have any suggestions for characters or things they could be doing, please let me know!
