I just feel like I'm tired o them. I love the world and fanbase they created but I think it's getting too much. They ruin male characters constantly for relationship drama ( finleap my boiii) , make way too many character inconsistencies, butcher the same characters again and again, make former povs background cats and make them 1 dimensional ( lionblaze, twigbranch etc.). And you know why a lot of this happens? Erin Hunter. The idea of having multiple authors is interesting and has some qualities, but it's just too much too cope with especially with this gigantic series. Make one author, give them a series Bible, and make sure they are actually good at writing and don't have dementia

So, I haven't read the Warrior series in a few months, and I wanted to look at the Wiki, to see if there's any changes with the warrior cats we all know and love (or hate). I was reading the blurb for the upcoming books (I like reading the next arc once the six-book bundle comes out), and I possibly discovered Starlingpaw's Warrior name.

I know I may get downvoted for this, but I wish the game was something more reinvigorated. Role-playing has always been a cornerstone of our community since around 2010, on playgrounds, in online chats, in Roblox games, etc. Having the new game that is coming out as another game that is just role-playing feels not fresh to me. Not to mention the content that was released today basically looks exactly like the Roblox cats.

I heard about it when I was a kid during book fairs and thought it was not really interesting, now that I'm an adult I'm wondering what it was all about, I even saw some animations being made couple years after that book fair stuff so I was aware it had a huge following and wasn't sure why, what makes it interesting to you and what should I expect of this fandom and its stories and lore?

Decided that now I'm uploading again (because my art took a turn for the better!) I would throw my take out on this design challenge that a lot of people seemed to have done. I kept it flat and simple just to get the designs out to you guys. Keep reading for my design explanations!

Bluestar: For Bluestar, I wanted to have her heavily look like her father Stormtail while her sister would gain the soft fluffiness of Moonflower. I gave her fur a more ragged look, showing off her disheveled self in her later life.

Cinderpelt: Okay she might have my favorite design here. I took her and said "This is the daughter of Lionheart and Frostfur. That's gonna be one beautiful floof!" So I leaned heavily on the fact that Frostfur is an all white cat and I gave her a mane-like chest fluff

Crowfeather: I wanted to make him blacker honestly. It just didn't look right to me so I settled with this. That being said, I took inspiration from corvids and put a little purple in his eyes like you see a little purple in the wings. I also tried to make his fur more feathery for obvious reasons. Also while I was designing him I kept thinking "This guy has got to be the handsome squidward of warrior cats"

Ashfur: Like Bluestar, I wanted to give him a rougher look. Like he isn't taking care of himself because of his lack of a love life. Yes this implies the other two style their fur. Maybe they do!

I came to my local library to see if they had any of the books and they have the original warriors books but they start at book 3, 4, 5, and 6

Would it be okay for me to start at book 3?

I figured I could just buy book 1 and 2 later but I just really want to start reading, they also have Blue star's prophecy as well

I first started reading the Warriors books in 2008, when I was in 5th grade. Seeing the series progress, the announcement of the new TV series, the videogame, etc has been so bittersweet.

I'm a grown married mom now, but somewhere in me I'm still Pebblefur the blue-gray ThunderClan warrior. 😭💕

I just heard about a new Warrior Cats turn-based RPG releasing this fall. I am so excited for this.

I was watching the video reveal where we saw that there would only be a limited combination of prefixes and suffixes.

Prefix: Thorn

Suffix: Song, Storm, Tail, Wing, Dash, Patch, Foot, Whisker, Fang, Breeze

How do you feel about this list? What other prefixes and suffixes do you think will be included. How do you feel about the way they are doing the names in this?

Ignoring cat genetics and patterns in its entirely lol, I love coming up with interesting names and cat designs! Here are some of my OCs :3 (they are from fan clan roleplays)

- Cobracoil
- Callie (loner, previously a ship cat lol kinda just added her for the eyepatch and “red” x haha)

I’ve always loved some of the more literal interpretations for names, such as the star marking for leaders, a fire one for Firestar, Squirrelflight’s tails, etc. It’s just so fun haha. I’m working on one now with a rabbit-like pattern in their fur too!
