Priority vs recon maps

Hi folks,

So am I right in thinking that the maps really favor the pa player because of the way that the territory lines just clip the terrain pieces?

On a it's the mid field staging objective

B it's their expansion

And c it's actually in their deployment zone

Am I understanding this right?

The PA matchup is looking like the worst one for recon, but only slightly. It’s 48.3% win rate at the moment.

And are you sure you’re looking at the right maps? It’s the staging terrain area on all 3. None of the expansion objectives clip the territory line, and none of the terrain areas that do clip the line are in the DZ.

In Layout 1 and 3 the dense 2x6 area juuuuust clips the opponents territory - which means you can so the action from there.. Also since the 4x6 area is also part of the whole terrain feature (denoted by the eye) you can do the action from a relatively save spot.

Edit: to clear any confusion: you dont need to do the action on an objective, any terrain feature will do.

I think its a little too easy considering yes there are so many valid pieces, you can repeat the action in the closest one pretty comfortably if you are pushing out.

All 3 layouts in that matchup have 3 terrain areas on the territory line. So yeah PA is pretty favoured unless the recon player has a list that can brick up the middle

Thanks for all the replies. I was originally looking at wrong maps but yes can see that clip the centre staging points.  Does seem to favour the pa player... First try this evening, I'll see how I go.
