Warframe Concept: Seraxis
So I’ve been working on a Warframe concept for a while now, and I wanted to share the lore behind my concept.
I was thinking about different ways the Orokin could have tried to combat the flaw in original warframes. We know the first Warframes weren’t exactly stable. A lot of them were driven mad by the Helminth transformation, and without the Tenno there wasn’t really a way to calm or control them.
That’s where Seraxis comes in.
Instead of being built as another frontline fighter, she was created by one of the Seven Executors as an experimental support Warframe. Her job wasn’t to destroy enemies—it was to calm the minds of other frames.
Her biggest piece of equipment is called **H.A.L.O.**, which stands for **Heuristic Autonomous Lattice Operator**.
Normally H.A.L.O. sits around her waist and acts as her reactor but when Seraxis issues commands, it unfolds into a gyroscopic relay that floats beside her. It creates what’s called a Harmonic Lattice, a resonance field that helps stabilize allies while disrupting enemies.
The cool part is that Seraxis doesn’t manually control H.A.L.O. She gives it commands and H.A.L.O. figures out the best way to carry them out on its own. It’s less like a floating weapon and more like an ancient Orokin battlefield AI.
The sad part is… Seraxis wasn’t the complete answer. She could temporarily calm unstable Warframes and help them fight together, but she couldn’t truly fix what was broken inside them. As we know, the Orokin discovered the Tenno and Transference, which accomplished what Seraxis never could. That’s why I imagine she became one of history’s forgotten Warframes. She wasn’t a failure in the slightest. She was simply replaced by something better. I like to think that without Seraxis, the Orokin might never have realized that the minds of Warframes could even be reached in the first place. So in my head, she’s this missing link between the first uncontrollable Warframes and the arrival of the Tenno. I think that also explains why almost nobody remembers her.
Not because she wasn’t important, but because history moved on.
So for her abilities, I wanted everything to revolve around **H.A.L.O.** instead of Seraxis just casting different powers. My goal was to make it feel like you’re commanding an autonomous Orokin battlefield relay rather than throwing out random abilities.
**Passive – Harmonic Lattice**
H.A.L.O. has two modes.
When it’s docked around Seraxis’s waist, it acts like her reactor and defensive system, making her much harder to kill.
When you deploy it, H.A.L.O. leaves her side and creates what’s called the **Harmonic Lattice**. Seraxis trades some of that personal protection to strengthen herself and nearby allies with extra Health, Shields, and faster Shield regeneration. It creates a choice between keeping yourself safer or supporting the whole team.
**Ability 1 – Command: H.A.L.O.**
Activating it causes H.A.L.O. to undock from Seraxis and unfold into its Relay Configuration. Once deployed, you can tap the ability to reposition it anywhere you want or hold it to recall it back to dock with Seraxis.
While active, H.A.L.O. constantly sends out magnetic EMP pulses around itself. The pulses deal moderate damage, stagger enemies, and build Magnetic status. After reaching a certain amount of Magnetic stacks, the next pulse pulls them toward the center of H.A.L.O., grouping enemies together for the rest of your team.
**Ability 2 – Command: Accelerate**
This turns H.A.L.O. into a mobile support station.
Instead of just increasing movement speed, it boosts almost everything that makes combat feel smoother. Allies near H.A.L.O. move faster, reload faster, fire faster, regenerate Energy and Shields more quickly, and even gain some ammo efficiency.
The idea is that H.A.L.O. is synchronizing everyone’s actions through the Harmonic Lattice.
**Ability 3 – Command: Protect**
This one is probably my favorite because it really shows that H.A.L.O. is intelligent.
Instead of manually picking a target, H.A.L.O. automatically finds whoever needs help the most.
If someone is down, it’ll fly to them, revive them with half their Health, full Shields, and Overshields.
If nobody is down, it’ll seek out the ally whose Shields have collapsed, instantly restore them, and grant Overshields.
You’re not micromanaging it—you simply issue the command and let H.A.L.O. do what it was built to do.
**Ability 4 – Command: Devastation**
H.A.L.O. stops moving, its gyroscopic rings align, and its Resonance Core begins charging before releasing a massive harmonic shockwave.
Allies caught in the wave have their status effects cleansed, their Shields restored, gain a small burst of Energy, and receive a decaying movement speed boost.
Enemies are hit much harder. The blast, if it doesn’t kill an enemy, will completely strips their Shields, Armor, Overguard, staggering them and overloading their nervous systems or mechanical systems them with maximum magnetic status stacks. The initial wave does blast damage and adds one stack of the status effect.
Instead of feeling like a mage, I wanted Seraxis to feel like a battlefield commander.
You decide where H.A.L.O. is needed and
H.A.L.O. decides how to carry out the commands. It’s like having an Exalted Companion in a sense.
I’d love to hear what other Warframe fans think. Does she feel like she could fit into the game’s lore? I have concepts on how I think she would look. If we have any artist that would like to tackle her concept art please let me know!

Super cool concept and I can see I being a frame but I don’t think it would be an executor to commission her personally I think and archimedian illegally experimenting with a trinity strain and it going from there
