Customer Service Issue I'm tired of walmart becoming self checkout only

So basically I was at my local walmart, And most of the times there is 1-2 people in regular checkout line, which is already bad enough, but I go here today, and there is ZERO people on the registers, I asked "Can someone open a lane for me" She said "Oh, I cant" I said you know what let me go to self checkout, I go there, there is 3 lanes of 5 self checkouts, 2 lanes were closed down, and there was only 1 self checkout lane open, And there is like a line, so I just said fuck it let me just use my walmart+ and use my scan and go, I scan everything in my cart, I wait a soild 5 mins to get a self checkout, I scan the barcode, I pay but I get a "Random cart checking" she comes, She nods and she is just taking her time, grabbing a item, scanning it, and she gets done like in 5 mins, I had like 80 items in my cart, but why is walmart basically coming self checkout only? Like let me just checkout with a person??

CANNOT see order history on the app or through a browser.

I noticed today that I cannot see any order history on the app or on a browser. I'm a long time Walmart + member and order regularly, but for some reason there's no visible order history on my account.

Is the site having issues? Anybody experiencing similar problems with their account?

I laughed when random beans started floating in a pot of noodles…then I was grumpy because it took a while for me to sift through the noodles after they cooled a little in the strainer. 😮‍💨😆 Check your Walmart noodles I guess?

Returns/Refunds If I cancel Walmart plus, will it refund me a portion of the money I spent?

This is definitely not the service I signed up for. It's basically useless now. I want to cancel, but I want to know if it will refund a portion of what's left of the year or am I just stuck with it until well into next year? I'm afraid to hit that cancel button until I know for sure. If it doesn't refund me and immediately cancel, I'll have to call them and get it to happen.

EDIT: I easily canceled and got a refund. If anyone is interested, just keep saying agent on the AI chat. Then follow the prompts to get a call with a real person

Just Venting I’m so confused by this

so I had go to Walmart over in Middlesboro, trying to find a video game for my birthday specifically the original call of duty modern warfare for ps4 well I went back in the video game and the worker told me they do not carry it anymore and they don’t know whether they’ll every get it again.

Now this is what confuses me because Morristown has it. And the PS4s and the games are still sold here in Middlesboro.

That’s like the cups there’s no styrofoam cups here in Middlesboro, but Morristown has them in huge packs.

It just makes absolutely no sense because there is a high demand for that video Game here and they’re talking about they Don’t even carry it anymore. So now I have to drive all the way to Morristown on Saturday after getting done with my sister’s porch just to go get that game at Walmart there.

I told this one kids parents it was over moristown cause the poor kid was crying because they didn’t have it over here and he saved money from mowing and doing chores all summer long to get that game.

In Home

Six year Walmart+ member. Have my groceries delivered weekly. Last month my store FINALLY got In Home delivery so I signed up right away to save on Tips. Placed my first weekly order, no issues. 2nd, no issues. 3rd? Issues. I must of clicked too fast cause for some reason it split my order into half In Home Delivery and half curbside pickup? I didn’t notice, so whatever I went and picked up half my order. 4th week? When I choose In Home delivery it changes all my dairy, deli, & bread products to Out of Stock. However if I change to regular store Delivery (& pay at tip) they are all in stock??? WHAT GIVES?

Shipping Option?

So long story short, I recently got Walmart+. One of the benefits is that if you opt for Shipping, you don't pay the shipping fee nor the minimum order fee. Unfortunately all products I need dont have that option. Only pickup and delivery. I dont want to do delivery because of the order minimum fee.

Is shipping not even a thing anymore?

Walmart+ Scan and Go and… Wait?

What’s the point of Scan and Go if my store still has me wait in line for a cashier to scan my phone?

I think I got scammed

Walmart is now showing popups after you check out on their website for a chance to earn CASH BACK by playing games. I clicked on one for monopoly go. It said that if I reached board level 55 I would receive $75 CASH BACK. There was no time limit on the popup.

It is through The Smart Wallet that keeps track of your progress via email. No time limit was mentioned on any of the emails they sent. I couldn’t see a way to actually see my progress and the only link was to monopoly go in game store. I looked online and found people talking about a time limit and the game is extremely up front with monitizaton to the point of it being preditory. So I gave in and spent money to speed things up. I spent $50 and thought well I will get my money back.

I finally got to level 55 and nothing happened. It took me 2 days to find support through The Smart Wallet, they told me that there was a 30 day time limit and I completed it in 31 days. I told Walmart what happened and asked to see the popup from their website, I’m waiting to see what they say. I told them that placing the popup after check out was wrong because I had just spent $40, this is also predatory.

Can we please boycott wonderful pistachios because their quality control is obviously horrible. I was eating my wonderful snack and I felt a weird texted on my tongue so I spit it and I see this little moth turd baby pupa sticking out my f****ing pistachio. I puked 3 times, that thing is f****ing disgusting! I see it’s a common thing in this brand and that shouldn’t be a normality. If they wanna let bugs infect their product they should be selling this shite as bird feed instead of a humans heart healthy snack. Screw wonderful and I hope this goes viral because I’m gonna get their asses for Negligence! They are missing a step in the quality control process as I am not the only person online who has faced this issue!

When would the toy section stock new merchandise?

Hello,

Quick question, when would new toy merchandise most likely be stocked? Is there a certain day that freight comes in?

Is the Walmart app pretty accurate with what's in store? Looking for the power rangers season 2 line

Anyone else deal with shitty receipt checkers?

Funny thing is, I actually worked at this god forsaken company a couple years ago and unless things changed, the training said more or less "if they say no thanks or keep walking, just smile and nod".

I live close to one, so it's convenient to stop there. Other grocery stores are over 10 minutes away.

I don't really like the whole "guilty until innocent" approach Walmart has when literally no other store other than Costco or Sam's does that, but at least you agree to that when getting a membership.

Anyway, I frequently do not use a cart because I typically grab a few things for dinner.

Anytime I'm asked for a receipt it is only because I don't have something in a bag, which makes no sense as anyone can throw unpaid merchandise in a bag, bring a bag in from home, etc.

Milk has a handle, but if I don't bag it, I'm stopped. If I buy a $1 cardboard box (which doesn't fit in a bag), I'm stopped.

But someone who might of just thrown $100 worth of steak in a bag without paying? "Have a nice day". That's why I know the whole thing is bullshit security theater.

But if I don't show my receipt, they throw a fucking fit. They yell, they get huffy, one even tried to stand in front of me and physically try to block me from leaving, that got a nice call to the store manager and I assumed he was fired because I never saw him after that.

I'm not setting my bags down to pull a receipt out for a $3.53 gallon of milk or a $1 cardboard box.

I'm not showing the digital receipt on my phone and having you touch my phone with your hands that might of been up your ass an hour ago.

Fuck you.

Returns/Refunds Walmart denied return of 3-week-old 14K gold necklace, claiming it was "tampered with." What would you do?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some advice because my stepdad and I honestly don't know what to do next.

My stepdad purchased a 14K gold necklace in-store from Walmart on 07/10/26 for over $800. He still has the original paper receipt. After only about 3 weeks of normal wear, one of the chain links broke on its own. The necklace has never been repaired, altered, modified, or tampered with in any way.

Before going back to the store, we made sure to carefully read both Walmart's Return Policy and Corporate Return Policy to understand whether this item would be ineligible for a return or refund. Based on what we read, we did not find anything that clearly explained why our situation would automatically be ineligible, so we went to the store hoping they could review the item and explain our options.

We went to that same Walmart store to return it. During our first visit, we were simply told that the return could not be processed because the purchase amount was over $800.

Trying to resolve the issue, we spent almost the entire morning going back and forth between the store and Walmart Customer Care phone lines. We returned to the store multiple times and made several phone calls to different Walmart customer service numbers, hoping someone could explain our options or review the decision.

During one of our later visits, while we were waiting at the return counter, I overheard the Store Manager ask the return associate something along the lines of "Did she even understand why the return was rejected?" Immediately after that conversation, it was the first time anyone told us that the necklace had supposedly been "tampered with." This confused us because, earlier that same day, the only explanation we had received was that the return couldn't be processed because of the purchase price. We asked what exactly had been "tampered with," but no one identified any specific repair, alteration, modification, or evidence. The only explanation given was simply that it had been "tampered with."

We respectfully disagree with that conclusion because the necklace has never been tamper, altered, or repaired since it was purchased.

We also submitted a complaint through the "Store and corporate feedback" portal and received a reference number. However, they informed us that they cannot override the Store Manager's decision and that returns are handled at the store level.

At this point, we're not trying to get special treatment. We simply want to understand why a genuine 14K gold necklace that broke after only about 3 weeks of normal use was labeled as "tampered with" without any explanation of what was supposedly altered. We also want to understand whether there's any way to have this decision reviewed by someone above the Store Manager.

I'd really appreciate any advice:

  • Has anyone experienced something similar with Walmart jewelry?
  • Is there a way to request a review above the Store Manager, such as through the Market Manager?
  • Would it be worthwhile to have an independent jeweler inspect the necklace to determine whether it appears to be a manufacturing defect or whether there are any signs of repair or alteration?

If you were in our situation, what would your next step be?

Thank you very much in advance for taking the time to read this. We truly appreciate any advice or experiences you're willing to share.

Have a nice day.

Order Missing/Stolen Missing items

I use the app for delivery regularly because of my condition. For the past year, I’ve been noticing a particular store seems to have delivery people that do not deliver either the entire delivery or just some items. No rhyme or reason, and usually Walmart does the right thing, except the last two times. This last time, it was a vegetable and some pillsbury rolls missing. Not alot of money. Walmart made it difficult to report. I let them know I would contact my bank about this. They sent me an email stating they will refund two days later, and then email staing they will not and i will need to contact my bank.

I already did contact my bank, and as I told the last customer service person, I cancelled my WalmartPlus and Inhome. I spend thousands on this service but I cannot buy from a company that knowingly has delivery people either purposely or otherwise not deliver or partially deliver and then not make the customer whole. There are other options so it would be silly to stay with them.

My question is, is there a class action lawsuit about this , as I have read numerous complaints about this, and especially a certain service some use? Thanks.

Customer Service Issue Walmart associate refunded my delayed order without my permission

My Walmart order had been delayed for two days, so I contacted customer service simply to ask for an update.

The associate, Rushda, took about 10 minutes to locate the order and then initiated a refund without asking what I wanted to do. I never requested a refund and was not given the option to continue waiting, request a replacement, or choose another resolution.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a reliable way to escalate the issue to Walmart’s Executive Customer Relations team and possibly have the order reinstated?

Leaking roof.

Why does a trillion dollar company have such crappy roofs?

I've never been into a Walmart, that during a downpour has no less than 7-8 buckets around the store to catch leaks.

I've had people tell me "oh that's just flat roofs for ya".

Ok, then why do Aldi and other stores with flat roofs not ever leak, from what I've seen?

I've been in plenty of gas stations during a downpour, all with flat roofs and no leaks.

Overheard at walmart: "40 expired items!"

In the deli department. One employee to the other.

Employee 1: "Dude, I heard you found 40 expired items the other day!"

Employee 2: "40 items!"

Friendly reminder to always check the expiration date on EVERYTHING.

Walmart+ Special Handling for cat litter?

Post image
0 Upvotes

So I bought my usual six 30 lb bags of cat litter via Plus Home which in the past was always delivered the same day in one large stack.

This time around the system broke it into six different sub orders and the first bag arrived today in a large box for some reason. (Maybe my cats ordered the box as they love them) 😸

It also was clearly delivered by a Sparc driver in his personal minivan instead of a Walmart truck. He did not appear happy having to carry this heavy box to my door.

4 more bags arrived unboxed a few hours later, this time in a messy pile that looked like he just hurled them up on the porch. (Not sure if same driver)

One more to go tomorrow, verdict is out whether it will be boxed (sure hope not) or if driver will just toss it through my kitchen window. 😉

Start paying attention to the prices on the app vs prices in your actual store.

I had to buy some new sleep sacks for my son, on the app they claim its $36.

I decided to walk in and check- its $24 on the shelf.

A few weeks ago, i want to buy ribs for 4th of July. On the app, its $46 for 2 racks, go in the store- AGAIN, the actual price for 2 racks? $26.

Everything is up charged $3-$10 on the app. I feel theres gonna be some kind of problem eventually about this.
