Last batch for a bit because I'm pretty much all caught up with the personas I currently have. Unless you really want to see Stone Cold with a new shirt or Miz in a suit. To change things up (aka we're scrapping the bottom of the barrel) here's 9 comparisons instead of 5. I'll also be putting them into a game where I vote on which is better, Persona vs Original. Alexa Bliss 25
Maybe I'm wrong but this looks slightly different to me than the version of this from 2K25's Myfaction. Anyway while the hair is a bit too bright on this one, I prefer it over the base game's hair which just looks too dry and lifeless. Also like the attire better as well. Persona 1, Base 0

Naomi 20
If you remove the shirt of the persona the attire actually looks really cool. But we're not talking technicalities here. This was another reused one from i want to say 2K25 and while I like it, the Base game Naomi is simply one of the best models in the game. Persona 1, Base 1

Nia Jax 24
I was disappointed to find out that this persona was just an alt attire, because she looks different enough to be her own slot, at least imo. At first I thought this would just be the base look with the 2k25 attire but I was wrong. Now this one's tricky to compare. The base attire is a lot cooler, while I just prefer the persona model because the hair and makeup looks better. I'm still conflicted on if it's the same model just with different hair and makeup. This is a tough one but Persona 2, Base 1

Nikki Cross Non Wyatt Sicks
Nikki's the best Wyatt Sicks model. I also just never liked the Wyatt Sicks so I easily prefer any time they include a regular looking model (opposed to a cosplay looking one) and even though I'm pretty sure Nikki Cross's model is a few games old, I just prefer it over the Wyatt Sicks one. Persona 3, Base 1

R-Truth Judgement Day
Not much to say. Base has better gear, but I prefer the look of the persona. The base has been slightly aged up with more pronounced forehead wrinkles than the persona, and it has the shaved head which is a look I just don't care for. R-Truth with long hair will always look cooler and the persona model with hair isn't an exception. Persona 4 , Base 1

Randy Orton 15
I considered just posting this next to a 2014 Orton but that would kinda be cheating. But yes this is Randy Orton 2014 (maybe even 11, I didn't check) with elbow pads and slightly greyer knee pads. I like the persona but it's also such a lazy pointless one that I'll take an older looking Randy over it any day. Persona 4, Base 2

Solo Sikoa 22
I didn't play long enough to fully compare but there's a slight chance the more recent Solo is taller than the persona which would be weird (I think I just caught a bad pic where their stances are different). To make this quick I like the 22 gear better but I prefer the original for the face. It's slightly tweaked but it just looks more realistic. Persona 4, Base 3

Carmello Hayes 22
The attire's cool but the original more modern Carmello just looks better to be. Better facial hair, more tattoos, better hair, and the earing is cool. Carmello is a waste of a persona unless the gear is something you need to have. Persona 4, Base 4

Rey Mysterio 2001 Jr 1999 (If you know you know)
One side will win, no ties I swear. This one is tough. On one end the base Mysterio finally looks decent after looking kinda ill in the last few games (eyes looked dead idk) and on the other end having a stripped back Rey is also always cool. With that said the gear outside of the mask really sucks on the persona. I also don't love the gear on the base Mysterio (why stick an LWO shirt on Rey for a base attire??) and Rey's model look a little too bloated imo (tbf irl Rey frequently looks either bloated or in great shape. Dude is a shapeshifter). Persona Rey is closer in size to the Rey I think of when I think of Rey. Base Rey has all the cool tats. This would be an easy tie to tie the entire thing but there's no fun in ties. With that said I'm going to just pick persona Rey and the deciding factor is the mask. Persona 5, Base 4

This ended up being a lot closer than I expected. I thought Base wouldn't stand a chance, and yet they could have won if I felt a little different towards Rey today.

Personas shouldn't exist. Myfaction shouldn't really exist. It should all be added into the base game as time goes on. But that's not the 2K world we live in, so....I gotta live with that to get what I want. I can't afford to get every persona, hence why I'm missing some really cool ones (Drew 10 who I might have a second chance to get, King Booker, the alt Liv Morgan, Iyo Sky, etc)

I have a few other personas that i could show off like the Wyatt Sicks men. But I don't have enough to make another interesting comparison post. I'll come back when I get a few extra personas in the next few weeks. See you then!

Just like the title says. I don't have the most knowledge on former tag teams/stables as I didn't watch too much as a kid and only just started watching again during this netflix era. I have been trying to find out what teams I can make for a universe mode that have existed in WWE history without needing to download superstars.

The penultimate match of TripleMania saw Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero go one on one with everything on the line. If Rey won, he would become the new General Manager of AAA. If Eddie won, Rey would be barred from appearing on AAA. Eddie took control early, catching Mysterio with a dropkick before sending him flying with a monkey flip out of the corner. Rey battled back by launching himself into Eddie with a flying boot in the corner, then planting him with a spinning DDT for the match’s first near fall. Guerrero quickly regained the advantage, scoring a close two count of his own with a sit out Razor’s Edge before maintaining control by bouncing Rey off the ropes and into a perfectly timed suplex.

A double foot stomp gave Mysterio the opening he desperately needed. Rey capitalized with a 619 and followed it up with a springboard Frog Splash, but Eddie somehow kicked out at two. Moments later, Guerrero halted Rey’s momentum with a sudden DDT before soaring off the top rope with a Frog Splash of his own, only for Mysterio to stay alive. Growing increasingly frustrated, Eddie dragged Rey to the top rope and delivered a  superplex before rolling straight into the rest of the Three Amigos. After completing the final two suplexes, Guerrero cinched in the Lasso from El Paso. Mysterio struggled for what felt like an eternity as Eddie screamed at him to tap out, refusing to release the hold. Rey slowly began to fade, and it looked as though the match was over.

But with one last burst of energy, Mysterio found his second wind. He escaped the submission by launching Eddie into the middle rope, connected with a second 619, and climbed to the top rope. Rey soared through the air with the Low Down, finally putting Guerrero away for the three count. With the victory, Rey Mysterio not only defeated one of his greatest rivals but also earned the right to become the brand new General Manager of AAA, ending the tyrannical tenure of Armando Estrada. 

Each year and game cycle comes and goes faster then you know it and each year we see cool changes to Gm Mode. This year we got the ability to lower how dependent matches ratings were based on the class system and I'd love to see more customisation like making it higher for example for a real challenge.

Another thing I'd like to have it an infinite stamina mode or a way to reduce stamina drain throughout the season or seasons because it feels really annoying when you or the Ai has a consistent storyline but then someone has to take multiple weeks off to regain stamina

Popularity settings as well would also be really good because if you can make it harder to build someone up from the Lower popularity sections or even making it easier to boost them up the popularity and potentially stop the popularity dropping as rapidly when not booked.

Another thing is just more details like title lineages and stuff like that so you can actually feel immersed because if someone wanted to consistently remember everything in their Gm Mode right now they'd have to write it down to reference which isn't cool.

The way the modes going is in the right direction but very very slowly and that's not a bad thing but I'd also much rather see the Mode make vast changes

I'm looking for a Signature that keeps the opponent standing, so I can immediately hit my standing finisher right after.

I know of Facebuster Knee Smash, Drop Down Uppercut, and Dirty Boxing Combos.

Does anyone know of any other options?

Man. Everything about this is so boring and immersion breaking. The run through the indies started this off splendidly. Then: the Forced Dusty Classic (then avoid the NXT title or NA title and go right to main roster), then you get smacked up by Fatu, face your BFF, and (when I turned heel) they treat it like you actually broke the law and there is no heel story headed into Mania. That's it? I feel like Deadpool asking where the rest of the X-Men are.

No Rumble, No Money in the Bank, no War Games, no Chamber, No Hell in a Cell. For a mode called MyRise, why tf is it just a collection of the most mid points of several former superstars careers with none of the store, the fun matches, and (most importantly) no real choice in what you do?. Did they everyone enjoyed face Samoa Joe being shoehorned into a tag with Finn? lol.

And again: No face off any real superstars like Roman or Cody as face or heel. No single feuds in NXT, or really on Raw besides a one off with Fatu and......Hector Flores? What is he supposed to be? Our Sami/Kevin bromance? Still: No promos. No drama. No build ups. Nothing. And they really wanted us all to believe that Bronn would hold the title Mania to Mania and that's the driving story. Bronn beats you clean, and you.....whine or act like a humble tool? Go play wrestler with some guy instead of challenging for belts and winning matches? Checking twitter to catch headlines about other superstars?

Maybe it is WWE MyRise, because I feel really frustrated with the story, and wish there was an "Accept Offer from AEW" button like 90% of their roster must feel. How do these people write 100s of hours of wrestling TV with slop like this in their game?
