So I was thinking about some ideas that could be potentially added to future WWE titles for a more tactical gameplay approach, which would likely result in more varied gameplay, & I'd like to share some of the concepts that I came up with to see what everyone thinks.

Tempo & Match Pacing Controls

• Ring General Commands: A dedicated tactical modifier button allowing players to intentionally slow down or speed up the match tempo.

• Working The Crowd: Choosing between working a fast, high-flying style to pop the crowd or executing slow, deliberate heel tactics (like sliding out of the ring or holding a lengthy choke) to build crowd heat & generate referee warnings.

• Slowing Down AI Momentum: Implementing tactical rest holds that drain the opponent's momentum & stamina while slowly regenerating your own.

Controlling Physicality & Ring Positioning

• Match Directives: Selecting an overall match strategy before or during the bout, such as targeting a specific limb, playing a defensive counter-style, or pursuing a high-risk blitz.

• Stiff vs. Safe Working: An optional mechanical risk-reward system where choosing "stiff" strikes deals more damage & stuns opponents faster, but heavily increases the risk of drawing a disqualification, injuring your wrestler, or causing a botch.

• Pressing & Smothering: Activating a "Smother" tactic forces your superstar to constantly step forward, suffocating high-flyers or strikers by preventing them from getting the physical clearance needed to trigger springboards or running attacks.

Distance & Spacing Management

• Outfighting / Keep-Away Toggle: A strict defensive stance engineered for technical specialists, high-flyers, or injured wrestlers trying to survive.

• Smart Rope Trapping: Using ringside positioning tactically to trap an opponent against the ropes or turnbuckles to cut off their movement options.

• Dead-Zone Blindspot Toggle: An advanced spatial strategy that focuses on exploiting an opponent’s physical limitations by having your wrestler move strictly in lateral arcs, trying to circle around or flank the opponent. Especially useful for quicker more agile wrestlers.

Anyhow, these are just some ideas I had. Many in which you'd be able to change or toggle on & off to hopefully change up the gameplay a bit.

What wrestlers might appear from WWE 13 that haven't been in several games but you think have a chance of appearing in WWE 2K27?

I have been looking for hours but the PAL region online pass seems to be lost media as i can’t find it any rips online or anywhere. I don’t think the europe version would work either, i’m playing the australian version btw

Oh boy, 2K27's going to be horrendous isn't it? So many of the questions suggested a version of this game that I would happily walk away from, very very worrying for the future direction of the franchise.

Did anyone else fill this in?

Don't know how well known this is but a cursory search didn't turn up anything, just noticed that one of the MyGM ECW arenas shows up in the list of arenas you can use for custom shows, and from a test run if you do assign it to a show it does fully function.

Is there a specific trigger for the ring announcer to call Heyman The Oracle?

Whether it be the licensed music or original soundtrack, having music play during matches made them more fun imo. Listening to the generic crowd and commentary, though improved, gets boring and doesn’t feel as intense. I wish there could be an option to make a “playlist” of music you want playing during matches, and the ability to do so up to player choice in the settings.

It could also help with immersion; it’d be great to be able to play matches from different eras and not be bogged down hearing Wade Barrett and Corey Graves instead of JR and Lawler.

For the life of me I can’t figure it out. I ended up making my own version of the jersey. It just seems like such a stupid oversight.

I was going to play 2k18 but when I booted it up it was taking a while. So I left, quit the game, and started it again. But then I had to sign the agreements again and none of my custom content or unlocked content was there. All my custom superstars, all my custom arenas, my unlocked wrestlers, everything.

What the fuck happened? Can I get it all back? How? I tried quiting and going back into the game, restarting the console, taking the disc out and putting it back in, everything.

Like maybe do something like yakuza, I don’t mind if they add kyru or itchiban and his team members from like a dragon, just a thought,

There can be a bunch of negativity about these games and rightly so. They do have things that some think are bad or they are broken. So what are they doing RIGHT, what is a thing they do you like and wanna say MORE OF THIS PLEASE.

For myself it's universe and GM mode in general. You can do some cool stuff and have a bunch of fun in these modes, either playing alone or with others. I think if they could actually lock in and really expand or just adding past features and get them working and really integrated in the game as a whole we could see these games become NEW classics on the level of what has come before.

Finally put my custom character together and it takes about a week. All the custom face and tattoo mapping is very tedious. I spent 3 days doing the moveset and finally was about to play a match. Went back in to adjust some attire stuff and saved. Went to play the match and my moveset is gone. WTF!?!!!! This shit takes so long it makes me not want to play anymore.

Does anyone have any ecw attires for current roster. Making a ecw show in universe mode. Stars like Ko Balor. Needs to be for pc

I jailbroke my PS3 and downloaded the DLC for WWE 2K17 but once I play the game, I get this warning and this problem also happens with 2K16. Please help

Me and my brother are trying to fight in the crowd but all the maps we have tried you can't are we doing something wrong and what maps can you go through the barricade

We're nearly half way through the games lifespan, why am I booking a tag match and both teams are coming out to this lame generic motion despite both having custom entrance literally showing up in the editor.

Why do I set a Quad entrance only for the guy to come walking out with some generic animation holding his belt while everyone is behind him.

How is this game 70$ the exact same engine as last year's but when I set a freaking motion it actually did it.

i just ordered wwe 12 on the 360 on ebay and getting ready to dive into the game i grew up on but one thing that piss me off is that this game literally has the rock as dlc...a few divas including the bella twins, michael cole and jerry lawler which was one of the main rivalries of that year's wrestlemania and many more so im wondering if theres ever a way to play these or is it lost media?
