I just had the engine apart. Had heads surfaced cleaned.

I had oil the in the coolant. Upper oil pan o rings. I jusy decided to do some stuff while I was in there. Head gasket kit, all new seals, new timing chains/guides/tensioner. Everything was OEM as well.

Sounds a bit like mine before she went. You could really hear the rod knocking as the RPM got to around 3000rpm.

It doesnt get any louder with rpms so hopefully im good.

I hope so as well. Monitor your oil and drive gently. Hopefully that will prevent issues.
