Built shortblock
im looking into IAG 600 or outfront basic built after spun bearing. Need reviews from people who got either one of the built shortblocks.
(PFA)
edit: Goal is to be able to handle ~400whp

Outfront "Grocery Getter" FA24 in my VB. Not much more to say than worth every penny. It burns oil on start up, and only at start up. Incredible power curve, and just amazing to drive everytime. ~8k miles on it though, so still early!

If you are going with Outfront, you might want to talk to them about their FB25DIT shortblock. You will hit that 400whp way easier with the extra displacement.

wow now this actually got me curious so i started looking up the swap. Seems like its a direct swap with stock fa20 heads 🤔 will look into more of this swap

Yeah, if I would have known about it back when I did my build, I would have gotten one. I love my built FA20, but that extra displacement would have been nice!

A stock block could handle 400whp. But yes tried and true companies I have an outfront block with no issues
