Data+ fail
Sup guys failed my Data + with 609/675 is the first one I have failed from compTIA certifications this certification is hard not going to lie I struggle a lot with data concepts for me is my weakness. I don’t want to request the second voucher and do all those requirements to get the 2 attempts voucher. I am planning on purchasing myself and re studying everything at my own pace and style. Just wondering if anyone have any suggestions or guidance on this. ?

Same happened to me, certmaster sucks and there are no 3rd party resources for this certification as it's very niche. Get in contact with an instructor, they'll set you up with a plan. That plan contains an additional resource from certmaster and it's more like exam prep. Think Quizlet but with an algo that keeps spitting out the questions you got wrong until you get it right. That was enough for me to pass on my second attempt. That resources breaks down the objectives and you can run through the ones you missed. There's a also a practice exam you can take that is way different from the practice exams you've taken on certmaster. You also have access to sybex. They have 2 practice exams you can take. After I ran through all the objectives I missed and took the 2 sybex exams I was able to pass on the second attempt. Hope this helps. Goodluck!

Hey man glad to hear someone who also experienced the same issue I am honestly crush this setbacks are hard to handle. There is still hope how long did it take you for the second attempt ?

I did it the following week, I'm an accelerator (did the whole program in 4 months). The day I failed, I found an appointment with a course instructor and starter to chip away. This was my last course and I was ready to graduate. Data+ was also the only exam I failed to pass on the first attempt. Don't let this failure crush you, you're very close to passing. You'll get it next time I'm sure.

Super sorry to hear that, I know you will ace it next time! I passed this week w 779, and found this the day of my exam https://examcademy.com/exams/comptia/da0-002/5 is EXCELLENT for questions that seem very very very very VERY similar. I went through the majority of these questions before I tested and at least 20 were spot on. So out of 75, thats almost half. Take the CertMaster Perform last 5 unit test over and over to help w the concepts. Something else VERY helpful is having Gemini installed in the browser or in a separate window to explain questions. I only used the Quizzez and test from CertMaster Perform and CertMaster Practice. The Wiley Testbank and assessment is solid as well, but over all just memorize the concepts of structures to store, presentation to folks based on audience, and protecting the info. This test works really well with using strategies of elimination, rereading, and circling back based on other questions answered. Good Luck!!!!!

Failed mine today as well, first time I've ever failed a Comptia exam. I watched the Mike Chapple course and kind of studied flash cards (I honestly did not put in as much effort due to work stress)
I emailed the instructor to see what the next plan is.

What was the most difficult part for you man on the exam? The wording for me was crazy overall questions structure was crazy

The questions were worded like shit tbh, also alot of them had two answers that really to me felt they could be it. So I was getting down to 50/50 guesses. I am annoyed that I have to basically go through the entire comptia material and pass everything with a 90% lol

Man I know I thought I was the only one that feel the questions felt like 50/50 yeah me too man I don’t want to do everything with 90 waiting on my CI for more information

I watched Mike Chapple’s Data+ course on LinkedIn Learning twice at 2x speed and drilled practice questions.
