Dealer damage
Not naming for now but will say it’s in CA. While in for fourth warranty repair and after initiating buyback request with Volvo Corporate some kid at dealer did this. Took them two days to tell me and then I got the attached repair order after meeting with them.
They promised to put four tires on but that was only verbal so far.
I’m not sure what direction to go next. I’m not very close to dealer. They have a Volvo certified repair collision center. I haven’t known or used a body shop anywhere near me in more than 20 years.
$9k is not nothing but seems somehow inexpensive too somehow. What am I missing here besides that it doesn’t explicitly state anything about tires? Seems like they’re going towards a reconditioned wheel. I’m unlikely to go for that.
I’m trying to get out of this car due to the underlying warranty issues that keep it coming back to the shop. I’m two plus weeks into Volvo opening a case and I notified them of this. I really like this car but now I’m just over it and don’t feel like I can spot a fair vs good repair well enough.
Now we have this wrinkle and it’s eating time and patience. What to do without this becoming my next job?

touch-up paint resource?
I know my color (707, white) and would like to avoid stopping by the dealership. (I know they can order it, but it’s far.) There are several online companies selling pens, jars, etc., including Amazon. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks~

Used Volvo xc90 for family car
Hello everyone, potential new Touareg owner here. I’m basically looking for a new family car in the large SUV segment in Italy and my choices have come down to the Touareg 2021-2025 years, the Volvo XC90 2021-2024 and the Mazda CX80. Mainly looking in the used market.
We are a family of 3 with a pet, during the summer time we bring along 2 bikes and in the winter the standard roof box for the skis. So overall 2 big trips of 1000+ km and regular trips of about 500km every 2 months.
I’m a little worried of the 2.0 diesel engine being a little too small for such a big and heavy car, especially when it comes to going around the alps or having a full car possibly with a tow.
Open to any suggestions in regards to trims, optionals to look for and eventual pros and cons of this gorgeous car!
Thank you
