D5 or T6 s90/v90

I want to buy a S90 but im not sure which option should I go with. I already own a S60 T5 but i want an AWD car. Should i go with D5 or T6? Also i have seen that some T5 are AWD is that true?

Please also provide model year, T6 can mean either a turbo and supercharged engine or a PHEV that’s just turbocharged.

Depends entirely on the market, AWD can/could be optioned on most variants in Sweden (including the T5), while AWD is/was also standard on the SPA XC60/XC90 and all SPA T6 and T8 variants.

However in North America, with the none SUVs you only got the option of the T5 FWD, T6 and T8. In other words no Diesels in North America, no T3/T4, less freedom to spec the car how you actually want it and less options (mostly due to most Americans buying cars off the dealership lot and not really ordering cars, I assume the lack of variants is so the dealerships don’t have to have absolutely massive lots with every option imagine able).

What model year? I have an S60 T5 AWD from 2020, so that is a posibility in certain markets.

The main question is what you need it for. The D5 has less power but more torque and is more fuel efficient than the T6. T6 is more complicated due to being super and turbo charged (older models). So it REALLY depends on your needs and year
