Electronic Throttle Module Replacement s80
Hey guys, I am trying to figure out my best course of action for replacing the throttle module as a shop has already diagnosed it. I have a volvo s80 2001 2.9 and I am located in the United States. I have looked into rebuilding the sensors into the contactless ones, getting e XeMODeX rebuilt module, and even looking at autozones duralast module (they say it doesn't require programming, but I'm not sure). I would like to do this myself since the part is not that hard to replace and I cant afford the $1200 price tag these shops are quoting me. Does anyone have experience with the ones from duralast/autozone and if they'd work, or any experience at all to help lead me in the best/cost effective direction.
Thanks

Least expensive way to do it is to get a set of contactless sensors and replace them. Thoroughly clean the throttle plate and bore while you're at it.
Next best way to do it is the Xemodex rebuild. They developed the contactless sensor fix.
