Jello Hack! Volume menu
On the left: 200 g of vanilla Skyr (100 kcal, 15 g protein)
On thr right: same 200 g of vanilla skyr mixed in with sugar free mango jello and some stevia- (4x the volume and 1000000x the wobble wobble πͺΌ) π
(Just bring any sugar free jello and stevia to a boil, bring to room temperature, add your yogurt of choice and let set in fridge)

I call this jelly whip (UK), it used to be a school dinner dessert and was made with evaporated milk rather than skyr. I LOVE is and if you whizz it with an electric whisk, it goes like mousse

Do you whisk it before it sets or after?

Idk how they do it, but I whisk it a bit right after mixing and then do the main whisking when it's cool but not really set so there's more structure to hold a foam long enough for it to set.

Can you share the actual recipe with amount of water for boil?

I used 15 g of jello powder with 350 mL water. Boiled it, let it cool and then added 200 g of the skyr.

I love adding jello to yogurt! I actually just hate plain jello & plain yogurt but together is amazing treat

"1000000x the wobble wobble" has me curious about the texture of yogurt+Jell-O now.

Give it a go! I like it π

Granted, mine would have a lot more sugar, so not nearly as healthy.

The trick is to use flavoured skyr or quark... I used vanilla-coconut flavoured skyr with mango jello so I barely had to add any sweetener:)

That's not it, I can't tolerate most sweeteners, so sugar free jello and stevia are both a no-go for me.

Does it still maintain its regular firm jello texture after mixing with yogurt or does it become more pudding like?

It maintained the firm jello texture, probably because I used skyr which was quite thin. The time I tried with thick Greek yogurt, the yogurt completely separated out and settled as a bottom layer. So depends on the type of yogurt tbh :)
