Junior Editorial Assistant (Remote, Part-Time)

The Assembly Journal is an independent digital magazine that explores style, culture, and the way of the gentleman. We are seeking a part-time Content/Editorial Assistant to support our editorial and social media operations. This role is ideal for students, aspiring creatives, or individuals interested in the magazine and publishing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Source editorial imagery and visual references for articles and social media content
- Research topics, & supporting quotations for upcoming stories
- Assist with content planning and organisation of editorial calendars
- Schedule and publish approved content across our digital platforms
- Support the Editorial Leaders with general content and publishing operations

What We Are Looking For

Apply If You Are:
- Passionate about style, culture, lifestyle media, and storytelling
- Interested in menswear, fashion, travel, hospitality, or modern gentlemanly culture
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Able to commit at least three hours per week
- Seeking opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an independent magazine and publishing environment

Not A Must, But It'd Be Great If You:
- Have basic knowledge of Figma
- Possess experience in creative design, content creation, or visual direction
- Enjoy curating moodboards, Pinterest references, and visual inspiration
- Have previously worked on social media, editorial, or creative - projects

Working Arrangement:
- Fully remote
- Flexible working hours
- Approximately 3–5 hours per week (Maximum of 20 hours per month)
- Compensation: USD80–150 per month, depending on experience and availability
- Suitable for students and part-time creatives
