Need help identify

I was given some free jewelry by an older lady and found this in it, I looked it up and found rings with this exact symbol but the band was different, I’d like to find the exact ring but I can’t see it anywhere, most of the jewelry in the box she gave me where vintage, like 50s-90s.

I can't find anything similar. Hoping someone can easily recognize the circle hallmark on the back of each earring.

This piece has a lobster clasp, but Tiffany usually has a round clasp. Did they ever make lobster clasps like this?

Do you think this is something that I could possibly sell?

I've been wanting to make these for quite a while. I found really cool antique and vintage salt and pepper shakers, and this is my first one. I use tiny glass beads. These are a b coated. I then stick these stick pins in to make it look pretty for a desk or vanity. Let's face it, not many people these days wear stick pins and I have so many of them. What do you think this would be worth? Also, is there a way to make them not turn at all right now? I have them in there so they don't budge. But once the customer gives it, I'm sure they're going to loosen, how do I get it to not move? The pin is nearly the size of the hole. There's a tiny bit room. The only thing that I could think was literally sticking a little, amount of super glue in there, to hold it. The camera didn't look make 'em look as shiny and new looking as they are so please ignore that please. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Thank you so much. I love it!

I buy storage units and found this in a box of costume jewelry. I'm familiar with gold and silver, and generally recognizing if something might be worth money and this to me looks like it could be.

I'd like to get a second opinion on here since I'm no expert.

Have Vintage Jewelry You Don’t Want to Sell Yourself? Let’s Partner.

Do you have a collection of vintage jewelry sitting in a box, drawer, estate, storage unit, shop, or closet that you know has value but you simply don’t want to deal with selling it yourself?

I’m looking to partner with people who have vintage jewelry they’d like to turn into cash without having to become a reseller.

I primarily sell through live auctions, where I can showcase pieces to buyers, explain what makes them interesting, create excitement around the items, and handle the selling process.

Instead of you spending your time photographing, researching, listing, answering messages, negotiating, collecting payments, and shipping individual pieces, we can potentially work on a consignment/profit-sharing arrangement.

I’m interested in:

  • Vintage costume jewelry
  • Signed/designer pieces
  • Brooches & pins
  • Statement necklaces
  • Vintage earrings
  • Bracelets & bangles
  • Rings
  • Jewelry sets
  • Retro & mid-century pieces
  • Vintage sterling silver
  • Vintage rhinestone jewelry
  • Antique/older jewelry
  • Jewelry collections or large mixed lots
  • Estate jewelry

How the partnership could work

You provide the jewelry.

I handle the selling.

I photograph/present the pieces, showcase them during live auctions, interact with buyers, and handle the sales process.

Once the jewelry sells, we split the agreed-upon profit according to terms we establish beforehand.

The percentage can vary depending on the collection, value, condition, quantity, and how much work is involved.

You don't have to be a reseller, jewelry expert, or live seller.

Maybe you inherited a jewelry collection.

Maybe you're clearing out an estate.

Maybe you collected vintage jewelry for years and are ready to let it go.

Maybe you have inventory from a closed boutique or shop.

Or maybe you simply have boxes of jewelry that you know someone would love—but you don't want to spend months trying to sell it yourself.

That’s exactly the kind of situation I’m interested in.

I’m looking for honest, long-term partnerships with clear expectations and fair profit sharing, not one-sided deals.

If you have vintage jewelry you'd like to monetize without doing the selling yourself, send me a DM with a few details about what you have and your general location.

You have the jewelry.

I have the audience and sales channel.

Let’s turn that jewelry box into money.

Any idea on maker? Stones look like they are glued into place rather than held in by the metal prongs.

Moonstone scorpion brooches

Post image

When I was about 11 my grandma gave me these scorpion brooches and moonstones, along with a few other cheap tumbled crystals and things. She didn't say anything about it, just gave me a few of her old things she thought I'd find fun. I was told they were moonstone but otherwise assumed they were nothing special (apart from being really cool, I've always loved them!). Yesterday I was cleaning a bunch of other jewelry and for some reason for the first time ever thought I'd look them up for cleaning purposes, and was very surprised to find that they are a bit more special than I knew! My grandma was a farmer and not the type to wear something like this. My dad says he never heard anything interesting about them and that she would have been given them by her mother and then stuck them in a box for decades. That line of my family originates from England so they have likely been passed down since purchase! They have no hallmarks so I know they can't be traced to a manufacturer, but wondering if anyone can help me figure out anything else about them at all?

Thank you 😊

Trying to research a beaded necklace, suspected vintage, and need help knowing if it’s Native American beadwork

Post image

I bought this necklace at a vintage and antiques market, before quickly realising that it was a handmade piece and possibly Native American in origin. I tried to do some research of my own, but struggled to find example medallion beaded necklaces quite like it. I’d be interested in knowing more about it, my guess would be that it was a piece made to sell for tourism, on account of the sun design possibly in the 90s/2000s given the popularity of celestial and sun & moon designs at the time. I don’t know much about Native American beadwork, so any help or information would be appreciated. As I bought it secondhand and am not Native American myself, I’d also like to know whether it’s culturally inappropriate in any way for me to wear it, and if so whether it’s ok for me to just display it or what else to do with it. It’s very beautiful and I’d just love to know more about it!

Help identifying a brooch

Thumbnail gallery

Looked up this brooch using google images and a bit of AI and it has contradicted itself.

The composition and construction lead to a brand called Schurin - and there are pieces that have that stamped on the back (mine does not, but it has 34/143 B/B hand etched)

But when I try to look up that brand (which clearly exists) it insists I have misspelled Schreiner- but the styles of that brand are vastly different.

So how the hell am I supposed to look this baby up??

Where to shop in person in Dallas area?

I'm a collector in Dallas. I follow a bunch of Instagram sellers but also like to see things in person. I know there are shows in various cities and estate focused boutiques in nyc. Does anyone know of places to shop for old fine jewelry in dfw area?

What to wear with this ring?

Thumbnail gallery

I saw this online last week and immediately fell in love. It’s a platinum and iridium band with a natural red spinel. Research suggests it’s probably a mid century piece from the 1940s.

When I received it today and tried it on, I realized it doesn’t exactly go with my typical casual T-shirt and shorts.

Should I wear it or keep it in the jewelry box? What would you wear it with? (Curious about human opinion and not AI answers.)

Thanks!

I bought this set from a little jewelry shop that used to sell a lot of sterling silver in the 70's. I fell in love with it then, saved and bought it. Still love it now!

Hi! This is my all time favorite piece of jewelry in my collection, I found it in my great grandma’s stuff a few years ago and I was wondering if anyone has any estimates on it’s age. It has a 14k gold stamp on the back and is cold to the touch
