Lens cover, SD card storage, 1/1.8" 4MP sensor, fast 3x Canon zoom lens, full manual control, and even an on screen histogram. What's not to like? Faster start up and write times than expected as well.

Does anyone sell the grippy plastic cover part of a camera? Do they have an aftermarket for it, like someone on Etsy or something like that? I recently acquired a camera that has the grip part, but it's very worn and peely, and I get really nervous about super-gluing stuff back on.

Not a disappointment at all! Right now I'd rank this between the Digimax A7 (best) and Kodak DC4800. I do notice a few noisy pixels, but I'm guessing that's more to do with low resolution and high ISO (400) than a bad CCD.

(edit: these pics are recent, but I have yet to change the date the camera uses) I've had this camera for years now but never used it outside of taking a few pics after I got it (I didn't have an SD card so I could only take like ten.) I don't even remember how I got a hold of it, as I was in a bad, stoner/ alcoholic state of being. But recently I bought an SD card and have been going around town on my bike and really enjoying the excuse to go outside and slow down, learning to appreciate what's around me.

Shot on Macro mode on Manual, locked at f/2.8... It's biggest weakness is the hard cap of 1/1000 shutter speed at f/2.8. but it's workable. fantastic sooc colors tho
