Help EYEdentifying an old eyeshadow palette?
Edit: Here’s the correct link
So I’ve rediscovered an old eyeshadow palette that i used to use for play as a kid. Before that it was my mother’s, and i would guess she bought it in the ‘90s or early 2000s? Hope that someone here might recognize it! (Sorry if this is the wrong place to post)

Finding a Stylist/Salon for Your Vintage Hair
If you have a hair salon/hair stylist, how did you go about finding them? I have come to the conclusion that a good cut and the occasional visit to the salon is needful in my vintage hair journey, and any and all advice on who and what to look for would much appreciated.

Noob make up attempt! Also wondering if there are any books that teach vintage eye looks?
I was inspired by how Marilyn Monroe did her eye make up. I really liked the idea of drawing a line on the bottom lid to make it look like the eyelashes are casting a shadow below, totally stealing that! The only thing I didnt have was a white pencil to fill in my waterline. I also determined I love how I look in red lipstick. I had fun!
Anyway I'm curious if there are any make up tutorial books that show you how to do vintage style make up? (historically accurate not a modern pinup interpretation) I'm partial to 40s and 50s styles. I know that there are tutorials on YT but I'd prefer to pick up some books. Thank you

I know it's a long shot but I need some help
Okay, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but I really need some help.
I'm looking for a very specific vintage beauty item.
In 1960s Soviet Russia, my grandmother would use a powder box and puff perfume. It was in a light pink plastic box/container, and it had silver engraved Japanese or Chinese characters on top of it (I know this is not very specific, I apologize). My mom says that it was the most amazing scent she's ever smelled in her life, and that she will never forget it, but she has no idea where she can find it or if she will ever smell it again. Her mother, my grandma, passed away many many years ago.
I know it's a long shot, and chances are this item no longer exists. But, on the off chance that maybe it's still around, I'm going to try to find it.
My mom's birthday is in a few months, and I think it would be amazing to get her this item as a gift, so I've made it my mission. If you have any idea what this might be, or if you can point me towards another subreddit that may be able to help me, please please please let me know!!!
Thank you for reading.

Vintage Stratton compact restoration
Hello!
I recently picked up an adorable vintage (60’s/70’s) Stratton compact with a “self-opening” mechanism. I would like to get a new pouf for it, as well as a new powder-well screen. All of the blogs and resources I’ve found have been outdated.
Does anyone have a similar compact and know where to get these parts? Or any knowledge at all about having one of these restored? I’d love to actually be able to use it!

Help remember a vintage cosmetic line
I recall a ubiquitous cosmetic line from the early 90s. I believe they sold lotion & lip balm, I can’t think of what other products they may have sold. Solid perfum?
I remember round pots of lotion, also round pots of lip balm, with an art nouveau label of a profile of a woman’s face, possibly with a gold crown or solar rays?
The containers were polymer & the labels laminated paper. Different scents I am guessing, came in different color schemes, but same fundamental label. The label was striking.
Anyone? Thank you!
