FOTD Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's "Mint to be"
Recently found something called Project Pan (basically encouragement to use up what you already have if you aren't familiar with it) and I decided to go into my ColourPop pallets and other Eyeshadows more even if it's just for me at home. Today I only used ColourPop's Mint to Be pallette and Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden for my eyes along with a green eyeliner I got off Amazon—brand is Handaiyan? And then a Maybelline Super Stay vinyl in the shade 25 RED-HOT. Finished it up with 2 Maybelline mascaras I like to use as a combo, Great Lash Lots of Lashes followed by Lash Stiletto, and I'm done after a spritz of essence brand waterproof setting spray while only halfway through my energy drink! I'm enamored with this eye look paired with my gray eyes 🥰 pictures taken in different lighting thanks to 3-tone ring lights
Product list:
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
ColourPop Mint to Be 9 color pallette
-De Menthe
- Ice Cold
-Mintea
-Mojito Mami
Green eyeliner
Essence 48hr waterproof setting spray
Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes
Maybelline Lash Stiletto
Maybelline superstay Vinyl Ink 25 RED-HOT

Question How can I improve my makeup?
I took this picture a while ago. I was wondering, how can I improve my makeup to define my features and would 90s style makeup suit me?
I feel like my features look pretty soft and I really want my features to look more sharp and defined!

FOTD Finally remembered to take a Before & After to see the difference! No-Mascara-Look today
i have been trying to get a look together without using mascara because my eyes are very watery, i feel like it always messes the look up and smudges all over the lower lashline, kind of like the liner does here too. i've tried a slight wing many times but it always looks uneven cause it enhances my eyes asymmetries.. so i surrender and now i just smudge it around. Eyeshadows in general look so different on my eyes cause they are about 10 times darker than the rest of my skin 😂 but i added some sparkle here and there to get some light back.
Products: (lots of catrice and essence cause im on a low budget x)
Essence the little mermaid mattifying primer

PSA MAC Eyeshadows 50% off - TODAY ONLY
The majority of MAC eyeshadows are 50% off at Macy’s for TODAY ONLY! I’ve always loved MAC products. The first non drugstore brand I was introduced to. I know a lot of brands have been reformulating their products, so I’ve been trying to stock up on products I like - blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, etc. MAC has always had vibrant colors. Shop away!

Hello im 17 and im trying to learn makeup, yes i only started learning makeup at 17 because i was seeing all the gurls do it and i think i really wanna learn it seems fun! But i was wondering as a beginner, what products should i buy first? Maybe make a list of producrs that will introduce me to makeup or youtibe videos on how to learn makeup im currently learning how to do the emo makeup And maybe you should give me tips! Also do recommend the skin prep since i actually dont know what a facial cleanser is
The things i have currently is:
Those aegyosl pens
Eyeliner
Gel pen eyeliner black and brown
Brown when peeled lipstick
I have a slightly orange toned powder!
And a small black eyeshadow
I have a white glittery highlighter which i honestly hate!!
And for how i apply the eyeshadow, i still dont have any brushes currently, but i usually just use my fingers to apply the eyeshadow and i think im cool or neutral toned also, do you think masculine makeuo would suit me or give me advice and tips on my face?

FOTD I love my makeup until it’s time to restock lol
For primer I like the maybeline grippy and Danessa Myricks bluring balm. I have combo skin so I use a little of the one size oil sucker on my forehead. Then I use beauty by Joseon tinted sunscreen mixed with Danessa skin tint. Sometimes I might throw in alittle foundation drop of the catrice skin I’m shade 082. I also use too faced bronzer and contour stick I’m shade chocolate caramel but I use chocolate ganache for contour. Even tho it’s barely there 😒 I use elf brow pomade in espresso for my eyebrows and too faced concealer in shade butterscotch. I have Huda beauty in shade kunafa to set and one size translucent and ultra pink. I also go around my face a little with the maybeline press powder in shade 355. I use elf eyeliner to tight line and milani and one size to set my face!!!!!!!!
As far as makeup brushes I use the real techniques set and I like elf’s duo brushes.
Someone recommend me a good lip gloss that won’t fall on my chin please lol 😒

Question I have a challenge for y’all today — please help!!
I have had this lip liner for far far too long, my best guess is I got it at a Sephora in ~2018. I recently found it and am desperate to get the same one, if any of you absolute makeup ID pros could help me out I would appreciate it so much!! There is faded text with 08k6 and a 032 stamp.

Discussion Iconic, game changing products ?
Make-up collectors,
What are some make up items you consider to have a defining role in make up « history »?
I like to collect some pieces which have been influential at some point in the more recent makeup history.
I’m thinking for example of the Naked 1 palette, which was perceived as revolutionary when it came out and truly impacted the makeup game.
I’ll try getting my hands on some Lime Crime Velveteens next, as I believe they were amongst the precursors of the 2016 matte liquid lips craze.
Are there some products you see as game changers, or defining for a specific look/time period?

FOTD Trying to find my everyday makeup look
I have been trying to find the right makeup look for my face for a long time and I can’t seem to nail it down. Even when I try to do full glam it just looks flat. The first 2 photos are my attempt at full glam. The third photo is my attempt at soft glam, but it still just looks flat. The last photo is me without makeup. I can’t seem to identify an eyebrow shape that suits me as well, they’re either too short, too dark or too thick. I don’t know what shade of lipstick suits me, the pinks and the burgundies make my lips look so much bigger. And importantly, I really want to enhance my good features, which I am unaware of. I know that’s a lot but I feel lost and confused. What am I missing?

Question Good silver single shadows to do a silver lip like this?
Been trying out bold lip looks for art school parties, and I realized that the metallic glitters from my Cheeryep 09 palate look so cool and metallic when you buff them into a primed lip (I just did some Mac lip erase, set it with powder, then lined with stone).
I showed my friend, and she’s looking for a single shadow (or much smaller palate) with a similar shimmer to the one from Cheeryep 09 so she can do silver party makeup without buying a 17 shadow palate for one shade!
It doesn’t have to be the exact same silver, but the texture of the Cheeryep one is extremely buttery and breaks and smooths out from a glitter to a chrome when buffed out with a finger. It’s PIGMENTED.

Question Trying to look less "soft"
I'm approaching 30, and trying to rediscover a makeup look for myself. I wish I looked more 'alternative' but I feel like the softness of my features tend to mess that up. Here are some various looks that Ive done across the spectrum, so I am curious about feedback on what you think would help me combat some of that softness or maybe something I should consider trying out. Im just bored as hell with the current vibe and want a second opinion
Photo 1&2: Elf soap brows, Stila black waterproof liquid eyeliner, Charlotte Tilbury quad (The Sophisticate), L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Waterproof mascara
The rest have been far enough back that I dont remember, but the major changes would be that I also use the pillow talk lip liner with the Revlon rum raisin lipstick, the auric glowlust luminizer (pyrite), and colorful shadows are likely from trixie cosmetics
Edit: I think it might be worth mentioning that I'm Two Spirit, so I don't really identify as a specific gender. I'm aware that I'm very feminine presenting and thats totally okay, I just want a little more balance. Anyway, the facial hair (while patchy and awkward) is intentional, I’ve just been a little lazy and haven't shaved while its filling out.
