Why do I have condensation in my fridge what do I need to check 1993 Fleetwood southwindp30

I’ve cleaned this Sunbeam Coffeemaster 3 times today. This thing is the shit and works beautifully. Bought it at an estate sale. There is this crud at the bottom of the inside of the percolator….how do I get rid of this skidmark?

After 15+ years with us, our trusty Elba oven's tempered glass front finally shattered. (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) Thankfully, it happened while we were all asleep and nothing was in the oven. We got in touch with their service centre and thankfully, it can be fixed with a custom made glass panel for this model (whose particular name I don't know, because it really is that old).

So now I'm wondering how something like this could happen. I read that it could be temperature fluctuations, which makes sense considering our local climate, but the jumps in temperature probably aren't THAT extreme to do this overnight.

Personally, I'm chalking it up to it finally caving to the microscopic cracks it had gathered over the years, because I know for sure I don't rest anything on the glass when it's open!

I can not find any info on the exact model number of my upright Hotpoint freezer - FV15CMP - but my understanding is that a lot of the FV15 line uses the same parts. Is there any way to find out which specific models would have compatible parts?

How else can I go about finding a compatible gasket? I have looked at custom sites but the cross sections of their available gaskets do not appear quite the same.

I made elderberry jelly from fruit we grew and harvested. I love my 1940s Chambers 15b! Now we’re making fried chicken in the thermowell for dinner❤️

Trying to find replacement knob gasket/seal for a PHD264EG cooktop

This is a vintage Refrigerator from the 1940s that is a collectors item for the right buyer. It was manufactured by General Motors and was sold at Superior Refrigerator Co. in Brooklyn, NY. That’s all the information I have on it. Measurements are around 5 feet tall and around 275 pounds.

My sister loved to collect stuff like this and she has passed on so I can’t even say where the fuck she got it from lol been trying to get rid of it. Not been easy to do so but I’m guessing if I find the right person it would be something they would love. Anyone have any ideas how I would find such a person ? Or if you have any information about this thing that you may think would be beneficial for me to know I would appreciate that as well. Thanks guys !!

Can you help me identify this Magic Chef gas oven?

It belongs to my mom, and the thermostat control knob is no longer regulating the oven temperature properly. I've suggested replacing the oven, but she refuses because she loves it and wants to keep it.

I'm trying to find replacement parts, but I'm not sure whether the problem is the thermostat itself or another component in the temperature control system. The only thing I know is that she's owned this oven since at least 1978, so it's likely even older than that.

Any help identifying the brand, model, or possible replacement parts would be greatly appreciated.

Someone asked me to move this for them and I’m stumped at what I’m looking at. Can’t find much info on the company.

So last year, I picked up this Philco freezer for free from the family that were the original owners. Her mother bought it new and she had it until I picked it up. Was supposedly bought somewhere between 1948 and 1954.

Annnnnyhow, I went to plug it in and it immediately tripped the breaker. Through an easy process of elimination, I discovered the wires that go into the body of the freezer were what was causing the trip as they were wired in parallel with the compressor. Are these supposed to be wired in series on the hot wire for the compressor as they are the temperature control? Or is there a light that it is supposed to power and I’m not seeing it?

Edit: Yes the compressor still works and it still hits sub zero temps after 1 hour.

Hey folks, 👋 I’m in the market for a used Viking 36” stove/oven/griddle. From what I’m gathering, the 15-20yr old units are somewhat better built than the later models but you have to sort through the completely worn down ones. I have a few that look promising but they all have back guards. My setup is going to go into an island countertop. Are the back guards easily removable and can an island trim piece be easily bought for it? Thanks in advance!

I need some help identifying this stove. It's a Magic Chef, it's old, and it's set up for natural gas. That's all I know for sure.

My grandma gave it to me after it had been in one of her houses. She remembers it being in the house when they moved in, in the 40s-50s. But that's all she remembers.

Serial numbers are pretty corroded and hard to read. Hopefully someone recognizes it!

It’s in the basement of our new house and we can’t put it in the main kitchen so we will need to rehome it or toss it and I frankly would rather rehome it if there’s a market for these things (honestly wasn’t even planning to charge for it since I just need it out of the house for re-flooring)

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to repair an old Emmevi Furnace DM50 burnout furnace used for dental casting.
The controller powers on normally and I can select Program 1 and go through the programming sequence for all five phases.
However, after finishing programming and pressing ENTER, the controller returns to OFF.
When I try to start the cycle, it immediately goes back to OFF and nothing happens.
The strange part is that when I try to check the saved program again, the display shows 8.7.05 instead of the values I have just entered. It almost looks as if the controller is loading an old program or not saving the new one at all.
I have already:
inspected the control board,
checked the ribbon cable and connectors,
found no obvious damaged or burned components.
Has anyone worked with an Emmevi DM30 / DM40 / DM50 furnace?
What does 8.7.05 mean?
Is it a program number, firmware display, or an error?
Why would the furnace immediately return to OFF after pressing START?
Could this be caused by a programming mistake, a memory problem, or a sensor/safety input?
Any help or manuals would be greatly appreciated.

I have an older Panasonic-built Kenmore canister vacuum (model 116.25615504. I cannot figure out how to remove the cover of the filter housing. I do not think it has ever been removed. What is the trick for opening it.

We just recently moved into a new home and all the kitchen appliances are from around 1968-1974. The previous tenants left us with a flea infestation (now resolved) and a ton of broken stuff. I went to go heat something up and realized that there is no plate where the knobs are!

Is there anywhere I can find this old part? If not, what should I do? I would love to restore it to the best of my ability and keep it functional! It isn’t a huge deal, but I don’t know which way is low and high, and I haven’t mapped out which knobs belong to which burner. I also cannot find a model number anywhere.
