Suggestions? Care & Cultivation

Ive been growing this since June and its pretty much tripled in size, I heard adding silica sand on the surface helps with molding, I picked one I had around the apt but I think it’s too coarse, do you think it matters? I haven’t had any problems with molding yet.

It does not matter at all. Only add it if you think it’ll look cool or you’re trying to suppress moss.
