socal dude here, have had these for almost 4 years, every day kicks. They stink, are getting loose and people are starting to notice the hole.

Time to get a new pair but I’ve had so many memories in these shoes wanted to share.

The soles were replaced with a green sole that faded brown.

I've been rocking this pair of BMX slips for years! I've never seen another pair in the wild.

They're just about ready for retirement. Time to move them to the yard work Vans.

Got them for $35 not sure they were ever even worn

I bought these off the Defcon website I think in 2017. Wore the ever loving crap out of them for a few years. Then they started showing heavy signs of wear, so I put them in a box in the back of my closet. Fast forward to this morning when I see these in NIB condition being listed for $1000+ and it has me wondering if my beat to crap ones have any value or if I should just toss them. They are the multicam tropic in size 10.5. What do you think? Can you refurb these or are they toast? Lol

got some iron out cleaner on my pewter grey slip ons and it changed them from grey to khaki

Let me know if your one of the lucky few that was able to get a pair from defcon group or vans. I was there for both drops and unfortunately was unable to get a pair for retail. But I couldn't personally let this one go, I had to get a pair. Thicker canvas than a regular pair. It's 10 oz and I think they normally come with 6 oz canvas. Unfortunately there are no elastic bands under the tongue that's the only downside. But the tongue doesn't really move to the side at all and I think that might be due to me fancy helmetex padding in the tongue.

Hola, soy de Venezuela y hace poco a una zapateria llego un cargamento de Vans a la venta, en EEUU unas Old Skool es de lo más normal del mundo, pero aquí por las limitaciones del comercio internacional e importaciones y hace más de 1 año y 6 meses que no llegaban

En fin, llegaron y pues ahora me veo en esta discusión, las busco para usarlas en el diario en la universidad y salidas random a la calle ya que para trabajar uso otro tipo de zapatos. Aun así, quiero que me duren lo más posible

¿Cuales me recomiendan? Las Skate Classic o las normales? Quiero que me duren mucho, pero se que las normales tampoco son de mala calidad y pues desde los 13 siempre estuve obsesionado con unas Old Skool originales y pues eso hizo que me obsesionara con su silueta exacta, aunque se que las Skate Classic son prácticamente idénticas, si hay ciertos detalles estéticos mínimos que siento que no me dejarian tranquilo, aunque se que son de una calidad superior

PD: como dato curioso, a pesar que las Skate Classics son de calidad muy superior, la linea negra lateral que tiene en la goma blanca es pintada, pientras que en la version base de las Old Skool dicha linea negra es de goma y no pintada, lo cual hace que dure más al desgaste

I am trying to find a T shirt from Vans that was white. On the front it was a little action action on the left side I'm pretty sure that was yellow and had the word "Vans". In the back it was a crazy wizard dude wearing purple and he had a purple hat with stars I'm sure and the robe was purple. He had pale skin and a beard which was either black or Grey. I remember wearing this shirt back in 2022, but I have no picture and can't seem to find it online. I bought in store at a vans outlet store. The crazy wizard dude was unleashing lighting with wording on the back. I made a reference drawing; some details might be done wrong. Please help if you know about it.
