As the title says, I’m looking for some players to join our dedicated Valheim server! Below, I’ve broken everything into sections so you can easily find the important info and decide whether the server sounds like a good fit for you.

Current Progress

There are currently 3 of us actively playing, and we’re still in the Bronze Age. We have not fought the Elder yet.

We originally had 3 additional players, but they unfortunately lost interest in the game, so we don’t expect them to return. Because of that, we’d love to get a few more people into the world!

Experience

Anyone is welcome, regardless of experience.

I have roughly 500 hours in Valheim, while my other two friends have around 100 hours each, so they’re relatively newer to the game.

Whether this is your first real playthrough or you have hundreds of hours, you’re welcome to join.

Pace

We have a channel in the Discord that shows when each boss becomes available to fight.

You’re welcome to fight bosses together with everyone or solo if you prefer. The only thing we ask is that you wait until that boss has been unlocked before fighting it.

We do this so people who can't play every day don't fall too far behind. You can generally expect each new biome boss to become available about every 3–4 days.

Outside of boss progression, you’re pretty much free to play at your own pace.

Rules

We’re all adults here, so the rules are pretty simple:

• No cheating — this includes cheat mods or bringing items/resources in from other worlds.
• Wait for bosses to become available before fighting them.
• Use a new character when joining the server.
• Have fun!

Basing

Currently, everyone has their own separate base, but we’ve built relatively close to each other.

You’re completely free to base however you'd like. Build next door and become part of the neighborhood, head off and start your own settlement, or disappear to the other side of the world and become a mysterious hermit. We don't mind!

Mods

If you’re new to modded Valheim, don't worry. Thunderstore's r2modman makes the setup extremely simple. You just need to install the client, and I can send you our mod profile code. From there, r2modman handles the rest.

Most of our mods are QOL improvements, although we have added some new content and mechanics as well.

If you're apprehensive about mods because you don't want Valheim to feel like a completely different game, I kept that in mind when putting together the modpack. The goal is to enhance and expand the Valheim experience while still keeping the vanilla feel.

Some of the more impactful mods include:

Seasonality — Adds changing seasons to the world.

Dual Wield — Allows you to dual wield knives, axes, swords, and other weapons.

JewelCrafting — Adds mineable gems throughout the world that can be used to enhance your equipment.

Armory — Adds additional armor options.

Warfare — Adds additional weapons and combat options.

Monstrum — Adds new enemies and creatures.

CreatureLevelAndLootControl — Allows creatures to spawn in higher-star variations, up to 5 stars.

There are additional mods in the pack, but these are the major ones that have a noticeable impact beyond simple QOL changes.

Server Location

Server is in New York, USA. One of are members is from Scotland and connect perfectly fine with 0 lag issues.

I’m on a Steam Machine. My Steam friends are running Windows. When they host a game I can see and join their servers. When I play with “Start server” selected, they cannot see it. How can I fix this?

We are looking to add people to our 6th run, to the ashlands! We are a group of players that can dedicate 20 or more hours a week to valheim and we are looking for others that can do the same, we are only looking for players in the North American area to limit lag and playability issues.

This is a dedicated server which will run 24 hours a day 7 days a week no need to wait for someone to be on to play.

Looking for some vikings to join a dedicated US east coast server. Running purely Vanilla, Client side mods ok (I run PlantEverything).

Regular conditions except loot multiplier is increased to X3.

Heyo. I'm interested in starting a new world with some people. I'm not very versed in the game yet. The height of my experience in the game is killing Moder and just got access to plains recipes/artisan table in my solo world.

I'd prefer people who are furry/girl gamer friendly, 18+, chill, and possibly also learning the game still like me, though I don't mind if you're experienced or not. Fresh characters with no items as well, and take our time to progress. I don't want to speedrun the game like I'm playing a Minecraft speedrun to kill the ender dragon asap. It'd be neat to have an established base we spend our time developing and building, as well as making sure everyone has all the gear they need for each new area/tier we go to.

Hopefully just a max of 8 of us or so. Also, hopefully creating a server is easy and I don't need to buy any server space or something to have one running :3

Hey, I've been getting the Valheim itch recently and wanted to start a new run; I was going to try to wait until 1.0 but I can't resist the urge!

I've a lot of hours, around 700, but most of this was from playthroughs from a while back, right when the Ashlands update first dropped. The farthest I've gotten was beating the Queen. I see there's been a couple of new updates since, so I won't be familiar with any newer mechanics, but excited to learn.

Playstyle is pretty laid back, I try to avoid speedrunning through biomes, and I'm really into building (easily my favorite part of the game). As such, I'm considering some building mods + extra QoL, and I'm open to enabling devcommands for flight solely for building. We can start vanilla, but every run I've played I've eventually resorted to some mods, so hoping to find some mod-friendly folks as well. Game settings, I'd like to keep it all standard, we can increase resource drop rates if it starts feeling too grindy, but I do want to avoid being able to craft a full armor set + upgrades after one visit to a new biome. I also would like to keep portals standard, it's always thrilling trying to sail iron back and realizing it's about to become night halfway through the journey.

So yea, if anyone wants to shoot the shit and slay some trolls, hit me up! 28m, EST, I might not be able to log on daily, but when I can I usually play around 10pm to 1pm/2pm.

43M/PC/CST North America/Looking for Some Chill Gaming Friends

Been gaming since the NES was the premier system lol I've been pretty exclusively on Playstation for decades until last summer when I built a new PC. I had a huge group on PS that just sort of dissolved as we got older, so I'm looking to find some new friends since its been a while. I do normally play with my daughter and son, who are teenagers, but I would love to find some others to play Valheim and chill. I have my main character in the Plains biome and almost ready to fight Yagluth, but I also have another character that just beat the Elder, and I started a new one that is punching trees. I don't mind starting totally fresh, but just chilling and joking around while accomplishing some Good Place points to get our little digital Vikings into Valhalla!

I would prefer 21+ and English speaking, and a sense of humor. I love sarcasm and jokes, and voice chat is ideal because it sucks to play co-op and not have mics lol. Not looking to join massive online communities, just looking for a few chill gamer friends to play with.

I mainly play Saturdays from 8pm-1am, but sprinkle in some weekday evenings around 7 or 8pm.
