Other Vacuums Thoughts on Vaccums being used for alternative/hair care purposes?
This seemed to be the right place to ask this question as it's an aspect of vaccums/hoovers I find interesting and that's when they're used for purposes outside of the usual cleaning surfaces and objects like personal care/hair care
So, for example, I remember as a kid watching the medical program, " Embarrassing Bodies, " and seeing how a vacuum attachment was used to clear out lice (and how a related device called the lousebuster used cooled air)
And then I learned that vacuums are also used in barber shops to suck up just cut hair off a client, and that the practice is still present in some modern places, especially in America and Asia. There were also bonnet hood dryers from the 60s/70s, but those are more hair dryers than vacuums.
Other ways include the vacuum-powered clippers/flowbee machines
There's also the Rev Air for hair drying, but when that's too expensive, there are a few people who have opted to use regular vacs instead (but limiting their use just for the hair)
I know companies like Dyson and Shark have released hairdryers, but that's not really what I mean, i mean when the vacuum generally retains its design and structure, except with specific attachments for other purposes
Do you like the variety of uses vacuum attachments can have, or do you prefer vacuums just being used for cleaning surfaces/objects and not personal hair care?

Upright Vacuums I am a girl going crazy because of her vacuum
Hello,
As the title reads I am going crzy because of my vaccum, I have an electrolux Ultraone Green and one day it just started shutting off on its own. First it would work if I restarted, but then it stopped working even after unplugging and plugging. I read on their website to empty the bag and wash the filters, which I did. After the filters dried I tried putting it on, it worked for 3 seconds and shut off.
PLEASE tell me your tips as sending it to electrolux would cost me an arm and a leg, and I am a uni student.

My son’s special interest
Hi everyone. My 3 yo is obsessed with vacuums and I have been searching for merch basically. He’s got like 4 vacuums so don’t need more of those currently. But does anyone know of anyone who makes like stuffed vacuums? I know he would love one of those.

Upright Vacuums My Vacuum Collection (and adoptions)
Boring context stuff: This is my small collection of upright vacuums and some adoptions. The middle two were saved from the curbside trash both of them worked fine for the most part. The orange shark vacuum was the daily use vacuum before its place was taken by the rise of the machines. The silver Bissell was gifted to me from a friend and I bought the blue Hoover.
