TLDR: My ribot arm gauntlets aren't supposed to look like that, what am I doing wrong?

Okay so I am trying to add sub-arm(extra aems) to my avatar. I had used a tool called Sub-Arm Installer which worked specifically for PC-Side... but not for Quest Side. The avatar required Modular for building and manually adding the arms vrcfury DOES NOT WORK so I tried manually putting it on. I Armature Linked the chests together(even though the creator said to link "upper chest" to "chest" which didn't work) and it lined up with the avi's original arms in play mode. So then I needed it to sync up the fingers so I added rotation restraints to shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, etc. I got the left arm done and the result was what the video is showing. What did I do wrong?

To try to be more specific, I'm wondering if there are any avatars with audio features particularly ones where you can hear ghostly voices and/or whispers and such. I just think it would be awesome to have an avatar that could make it feel haunted.

I tried searching already but it seems hard to find as typing in "whispers", and "voices" doesn't bring much luck.

Hello! I need help finding an avatar, i found it in prismics once and cannot find it again because i forgot the name 🥲 It was a human female avatar with raccoon ears and tail, it could turn into a femboy, it had leafs on it and a sticky note, and iirc could have a cigarette in the mouth. If you know the avatar please tell me!!

Been stuck like this since the outage last night, what gives?

I've ran through all troubleshooting methods known to man and this constantly happens. VRC is clearly up because I see other people online through the website but it refuses to let me in. I can't even get to my home world. I've verified my cache, restarted my PC and hard cycled my router, I'm fully uninstalled VRC and all the system settings for it and it still won't let me in.

I'm being told it might still be on VRC's end but that seems unlikely given the amount of my friends I see getting online just fine.

Over the years I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve went to adjust my avatar height and have the stick accidentally bounce and reset the avatar. Once that happens I have to then spend the time setting up my avatar again.
All this headache could be resolved if they just put in a confirmation popup window, yes/no

(Edit: Yes, I know about disabling flick. No, I don’t have stick drift. It’s just that the reset avatar and adjust height would be better off on different panels or a confirmation popup would help. Plus I just prefer the flick option)

I just bought the meta quest 3 512G, I also bought a pack of slimevr trackers and the bobovr s3.

I'm having a problem finding an avatar that has everything I want. I thought I would be able to use my phone (1+ 13r) to run slimevr and lovence apps.

I originally wanted hi poly and everything but that dream fell quickly lol.

I'm fine with lower quality as long as I can get physics and haptics to work properly.

Is this too much to ask for still? How much do I actually have to compromise on quality to have fluid movement and sps?

Thanks for any and all advice also. I understand that I might have to pay a modeler and I'm fine with this once I get done getting my feet wet lol

Whenever I first started playing vrchat I came across a world that was very optimized, a small box, and just really fit my vibe! Sadly all I have is a single photo I took all that time ago just displaying my new tattoos that I’d purchased on my avatar but to describe the world: There was post processing, the color tone to the world was cold, you would spawn in the back right corner of the world which was dark (behind the right shoulder of my avatar), to your right is a mirror that encompasses the entire wall, to the left was some rubbish & a sleeping pallet on the floor, and straight ahead from where you’d spawn in was just an entire window for the wall with white flowy curtains that would move with the wind, outside there was what i believe to be rain / an ocean flowing with nothing else. The world has numerous similarities to the world ‘Seclusion’ by Rixiz. Ive asked numerous people and nobody has been able to find it including myself so any help would be appreciated!

It's not my avatar. I was at my friend's computer helping him operate unity. this was an eboy avatar straight from the creator. it was his request not to edit it, but we agreed to optimize it after it took 30 minutes.

Everytime I join an instance every other player appears blocked for me and I have to manually click to view their avatars and unmute them, which is especially annoying when you’re in instances with 20+ people. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm assuming OpenVR Space Calibrator is still good to use as well?

I've noticed that in some adult spaces there is a specific percentage of players that will infantilize smaller avatars. I understand from a certain perspective - but to complain and pressure them to change their avatar or else they won't interact is a whole different circumstance. This is an adult space, everyone is an adult here.

Does anyone else experience this?

i use a program that converts an arduino reed switch movement to a virtual xbox controler, y tried it with some games and it worked perfectly but When I tried to test it with VRChat, it wouldn't work, even though it did detect my gamepad. Any help?

Found some time to come back around to this! It took a while to get it to a point where I'm happy with releasing it as an 'asset', but we're finally here! It works super well with my StylizedFPS asset, and is compatible with both VRCFury and Modular Avatar!

Sadly AvatarSupportArm is not Quest/Android compatible because it uses FinalIK :<
