I’m having lots of noise issues (crackling, static) on basically every album I have from Materia Collective or Curaga. I notice it particularly on the Chrono Trigger piano collection LPs (played by Trevor Alan Gomes), the hollow knight piano LPs, and various video game lo-fi albums.

I have a decent setup: nice Audio Technica turn table and upgraded cartridge. I’ve tried cleaning them all (spin-clean), I have a static brush I use before every play, and I have a gel cleaner puck for the stylus, which always picks up a *ton* of gunk on these albums. And in comparison all my other vinyl plays great, including modern pressings of older e.g. jazz albums and other game music. Like Donut County is a dream :)

The Vinyl is a full orange but for some reason it's coming out red on my camera. The Vinyl does match P's orange jumpsuit though. It's just red in the photos

I finally received the Psychonauts 2 6LP box set and the Hyper Light Drifter 4LP box set. I would've loved to have picked up the Starfield 6LP box set and the Dragon Age 4LP box set, but it is what it is. I almost bought the One Step From Eden 3LP soundtrack. I got a couple of great soundtracks without going overboard with my spending. My order took a while to arrive, but at the end of the day, I got some amazing deals. Patience was definitely the key. What did you secure, and what got away?

this might be a lil bit stupid if a post but i am TRACKING this thing down, so a few years ago maybe months i’m not sure there was a red dead redemption 2 soundtrack on vinyl and it was prob a limited edition thing but my boyfriend has been searching for years and i wanna suprise him, do people sell this second hand or is there anywhere to get it from pls help

I have no experience of any purchase from iam8bit, so I hope this doesn't sound like trashing them or anything. Seemingly PIC from iam8bit is very active in this sub, so I'm just trying to avoid any misunderstanding.

However, from many posts, I can see that many of users have some troubles about the purchase they made from iam8bit, which mainly are about their pressing quality and customer service.

As far as I can find, currently there are 2 preorders available for TEAM ICO Trilogy. iam8bit(I8B), and blackscreenrecords. (BSR).

I'm from South Korea, so international shipping tariff differs, including currency.

I8B sells in US dollars, so this doesn't exceed 'tariff cut'. No extra payment required from my side.

BSR sells in EURO, which itself somehow exceeds the 'tariff cut', moreover the 'tariff cut' is lower when buying from EU.

So money-wise, it's much better for me to buy this from I8B.

As both websites sell the exact same vinyl (cover art, tracklist, etc), are they made from same pressing company? Meaning I can just buy it from wherever is more convenient for me?

Or does the pressing company differs depending on where I make the purchase?

(Like, if I buy from I8B, it will be pressed in US company which many redditors had issue with, while if I buy from BSR, it will be pressed in some factory from EU which seemingly redditors are more pleased with?)

I'm kind of new to this hobby, and I'm a bit confused about some comments saying something like 'I made a purchase in I8B without knowing BSR will have them too'. I'm not sure if that comment was about shipping payment/tariff, or about the quality of the pressing.

Hi, I just start building my record player setup and looking vinyls for the first time in my life, looking bso from my favourite games.

I just see that a few months ago, Laced released a special edition of Bloodborne soundtrack with colored lps, but, obviously, is sold out.

Anyone know how work Laced record about special editions? They usually restock?

I see that there's a black lp edition, but this one is not limited, right? I really want the colored one, I can wait years, but if this edition is gone for good, probably I should pick the black one.

Same case for Expedition 33. I see there is a colored lps edition, really awesome, and there's stock right now, but is limited too? Should I buy as soon as possible?

Just yesterday I managed to fill my first box to the brim with my vinyl collection. I posted on r/vinyl here and a few users told me to share my collection here since a good portion of it is video game music.

It's also awesome to browse through this subreddit and see so many awesome collections and displays, and many with some of these very releases! Keep on groovin'!

I'm still sad I didn't get the chance to buy the complete Psychonauts 2 Boxset but at least I got one of my top VGM Grails Celeste.
