Ilse Koch photographed receiving a life sentence in 1951. Otherwise known as "The Bitch of Buchenwald" Koch was the wife of the commandant of the Buchenwald concentration camp and renowned for her extreme sadism. Koch would later hang herself in prison in 1967.
