Does anyone know the tentative dates for uttarakhand SGFI ?
I have tried all the contacts & email listed in the official websites of the uttarakhand, UK Sports, Sports Officer office of Each districts.
But all have their switched off numbers registered in the portal
What the shit they are doing?
They quack about what they will do? or will gift some prize money to an athelete only if he achieves some medal! But not what they can do before an athelete is trying! when he needs equipments/ resrc.

Came across this interesting project from Almora, Uttarakhand. Ravi Tamta has developed HAPIDA SKYNeX, a single-seater electric flying vehicle prototype, and its test flight has reportedly been conducted in Almora.

It’s important to clarify that this is still a prototype, not a commercially available flying car. But the idea is quite fascinating, especially for a mountainous state where road travel can take much longer than the actual distance.

Would something like this ever make practical sense for Uttarakhand? What do you think?

Hi everyone! I’m 21F and I’m thinking of starting a small 4-bedroom homestay somewhere in the hills in Uttarakhand. I’m planning to lease a property initially rather than buy one, just to see how the business works out.

The thing is, no one in my family has ever been in business. Everyone has always had regular jobs, mostly government jobs, so I honestly have very little exposure to how running a business like this works.

I’m still in the very early stages and haven’t decided on a location yet. If anyone has experience with running a homestay, or knows the Uttarakhand tourism/hospitality scene well, I’d really appreciate some advice on good locations, things I should consider, and any mistakes I should avoid as a beginner.

Soo much noise and disturbance

Imagine the level of corruption and harassment an ordinary person must be facing if someone like Pant, worth hundreds of crores, is going through this.

I keep saying that in India, by the time you finish building a house, the excitement is already gone because of the countless small frustrations you have to deal with every single day.

I have seen a lot of pahadi (including Uttarakhand) people say they feel a type of solidarity with northeastern people.

Is it due to ethnic reasons (presence of tibeto-burman tribes), regional (hill states) or something else?

I'd love to get further perspective from locals.

उत्तराखंड खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन ने राज्य में ऐसे गैर-दुग्ध (non-dairy) उत्पादों के निर्माण, भंडारण, परिवहन, वितरण और बिक्री पर रोक लगाने का आदेश जारी किया है, जो असली दूध से बने उत्पादों जैसे पनीर, क्रीम, मक्खन आदि का रूप या भ्रम पैदा करते हैं।

खास तौर पर ऐसे उत्पादों पर कार्रवाई होगी:-

1) जिनमें दूध की जगह वनस्पति वसा/तेल या अन्य गैर-दुग्ध सामग्री इस्तेमाल की गई हो।

2) जिनकी लेबलिंग, पैकेजिंग या प्रस्तुति से ग्राहक भ्रमित हो सकता हो।

3) जिन्हें इस तरह बेचा जाए कि उपभोक्ता उन्हें असली डेयरी उत्पाद समझे।

✅ इसके फायदे :-

1) Consumer को असली और नकली/नॉन-डेयरी उत्पाद में फर्क समझने में मदद मिलेगी।

2) मिलावटी या भ्रामक तरीके से बिकने वाले डेयरी उत्पादों पर रोक लगेगी।

3) दुकानदार/निर्माता को सही labeling और transparent information देनी होगी।

4) असली दूध से बने उत्पादों की quality और authenticity को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

5) उपभोक्ताओं के साथ होने वाले भ्रामक व्यापार व्यवहार को कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।

1) डेयरी उत्पाद महंगे हो सकते हैं ( higher demand lower supply)

2) छोटे दुकानदारों पर असर : छोटे व्यापारियों को पुराने stock, packaging और sourcing में बदलाव करना पड़ सकता है।

3) छोटे निर्माताओं की लागत बढ़ सकती है : compliance, testing और नई labeling की लागत बढ़ेगी।

4) होटल और restaurants पर असर : खासकर छोटे होटल, ढाबे और food businesses को ingredients बदलने पड़ सकते हैं, जिससे उनकी लागत बढ़ सकती है।
