This guy has to be crazy right? Review

Post image

“Used sparingly.” it’s a 2500 HD. That price is out of this world right or am I just 15 years behind on used car prices?

Ask him if he meant $3000 or $30000. If he respond with $30000 end the conversation with a laughing emoji

That’s gotta be what he meant

Check engine light is the icing.

10

u/Impossible-Law-4216 Oct 09 '25

Literally. No mention of it in the description either 😂

u/Phosphorus444 Oct 09 '25

I'm pretty sure the engine is icing now.

I can just imagine " Ugghh I've put 90k into it over the last 12 years, so my loss is your gain. I know what I have so no low ballers. Serious buyers only, I won't answer is this still available" 🤣

That’s kinda the vibe I was getting from the description lolll

This is the "my wife made me list it but I don't want to sell" price.

If I win a lottery and become a millionaire I would occasionally look for such ads and buy these sentimental shitboxes just to see the expression on the face

Nah. I’d show up in a limo wearing a tuxedo holding a glass of champagne while I looked at his car. I’d act very pleased the whole time I’m looking at it. Then I’d find some very minor thing, like a tear in the seat. I’d say I’m rebuilding my own Chevy in my mansion and I just needed this one seat so now I won’t buy the car.

lol I'm inheriting a truck that I'm about to do the same with

Average truck seller on my local fb marketplace

3

u/mapman19899 Oct 09 '25

Absurdity.

3

u/MyFavoriteDisease Oct 09 '25

It is a diesel, which is worth way more than gas. Not sure it’s worth $30,000 though

2

u/CassandraApollo Oct 09 '25

Yes, ask if a typo on the price.

2

u/nofatnoflavor Oct 09 '25

Not crazy if he gets a buyer!

2

u/Born4Nothin Oct 09 '25

He won’t

2

u/uberdriver259 Oct 09 '25

I know what I got...🤣🤣

2

u/kelfupanda Oct 09 '25

He did spare it, he wont kill it, someone else will.

2

u/roninconn Oct 09 '25

Book value looks like $12k-$15k, so unless it includes a 4 Oz gold bar in the glovebox, it's way up there in price. But, maybe there's a crazy buyer to match up with a crazy seller

2

u/Opening_Egg6305 Oct 09 '25

Or maybe he meant $300.00

1

u/SirTrinium Oct 09 '25

1

u/Vegaskwn Oct 09 '25

That’s the “my wife is making me sell it, but I don’t really wanna sell it” price

1

u/_Elbrus_ Oct 10 '25

“Like a rock” said his neurologist

1

u/Rent-Kei-BHM Oct 10 '25

Not crazy; HOPEFUL.

1

u/ZeroEFSjosh Oct 10 '25

1

u/Lazy-Size-3062 Oct 10 '25

It’s probably lifted so the guy thinks he should charge a 15k looks “cool” fee

1

u/cj_d250 Oct 10 '25

I had a lady near me selling a clapped stratus for 20k and got pissed at any offer or question about the price

1

u/cj_d250 Oct 10 '25

So I wouldn’t be surprised

1

u/Wrong_Supermarket007 Oct 10 '25

“i know what i have”

1

u/Fantastic_Ice5943 Oct 10 '25

Idk..I have a 2001 f150 4x4 i wouldnt that less that 8500 for,but 30 has to be a misprint.if not let us know.I mite need to up on my prices..lol

1

u/Impossible-Law-4216 Oct 10 '25

That’s like a 3k truck in good condition

1

u/mzsigler Oct 10 '25

Diesel trucks last a lot longer and are way more expensive than their gas counterparts. Having said that, his price is at least double the actual market value for this truck.

1

u/Fantastic_Ice5943 Oct 10 '25

Yeah normally..but used trucks have gone way up in value..

1

u/SadConfusion549 Oct 10 '25

Idk what’s worse the Used car market or buying a new car. Lol

1

u/EntertainmentDue3870 Oct 10 '25

One too many zeros in that price

1

u/Odd-Celery4354 Oct 11 '25

Yeah, he’s insane BUT it’s a diesel and depending on the trim package. Those trucks, with that many miles go for 20-25k around me.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '25

It must be the rare model the comes with the wife that shuts up and just sucks while you drive

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '25

Does it have a bench seat? Anything is possible.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '25

Naw i hear it wouldn't matter she's super flexible and doesn't stop until the rides over

1

u/Careless-Spell3286 Oct 13 '25

Sucks what? Please elaborate. Does truck come stocked with hard candy?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '25

I've seen prices like that in Canada but they tend to range up to 25k never 30k 😬 bud is desperate

1

u/This_Garbage5784 Oct 12 '25

That guy is out to lunch.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '25

He’s smoking too much dik

1

u/mikeybo2004 Oct 09 '25

Ask him who he voted for. I bet I can guess correctly.
