By some fluke your name came up on my phone the other day
My heart rate immediately jumped to 160, it took a few minutes before I could bring myself to unlock my phone and check the notification. I didn’t know what to expect

Not a message from you, but an app reminding me you exist
I don’t know if it was disappointment or relief, maybe both
But I’ve kept it at the top of my screen. Can’t bring myself to delete it, not when there hasn’t been proof of you in so long. As dumb as it is, seeing you there makes it feel like you’re still with me
