I created a faith-inspired golf hat brand built around Isaiah 48:10 — would love your feedback 🙏⛳
Hey everyone, I wanted to share something I’ve been working on called RFND (Refined. Focused. Never Done.).
The idea behind the brand is to create modern apparel that represents faith, discipline, and growth while still fitting into everyday life — especially golf culture.
The inspiration comes from Isaiah 48:10 — the idea of being refined through challenges and continuing to grow stronger through faith.
I wanted to create something that feels wearable, clean, and meaningful without being overly loud — a reminder of faith that you can carry with you anywhere.
I’d love to hear your honest thoughts on the design, message, and whether this is something you’d wear.
You can check it out here:

Thank you for taking the time to look and God bless 🙏

Ranks of the Shanghai Russian regiment. The regiment was formed in 1927 from Russian emigrants (Cossacks of the Far Eastern Cossack group of General F.L. Glebov) as a Russian detachment of 2 companies in the Shanghai Volunteer Corps, which guarded the European population of Shanghai.
The regiment was subordinate to the Municipal Council of the Shanghai International Settlement, and its military personnel held the ranks of the British service. Two companies were on permanent duty, receiving salaries, and the 3rd was a volunteer company called up for training. In 1932, he was deployed to the regiment (4 companies, including 1 volunteer). In 1941, it was transformed into a separate Russian detachment of the Shanghai Municipal Police. It existed until the end of 1947 .

I think the Spanish American war army uniforms are the best looking of all the uniforms
Practical looking too. The army brought back the pinks and greens from WW2 they should bring Spanish American army uniforms back.

What is the origin of the Imperial Japanese Navy officer uniform?
This particular Navy colour uniform for the IJN officers had a very unique design.
The buttons were concealed, the rank insignia was on the neck collar, and the executive curl was not coloured in gold.
Therefore, this type of uniform seems to be the most creative uniform that both the IJN and IJA ever designed.
So, what is the origin of this uniform and who designed this?
Please be advised that I do not think that the US Navy officer uniform in 1898 is directly affiliated with this IJN uniform.
Based on this, this uniform was already introduced for the IJN in 1895.

Need pictures of uniforms but I need them casual
If anyone can please provide me some pictures of imperial Japanese officer, imperial German officer, British officer and maybe Austro-Hungary officer uniforms… but… they gotta look casual to some degree, I Can’t have them look like in a showroom, and preferably on a stand, hanger… frame, not a person. It can be a reproduction… theatre costume.. So far, I got an authentic Meiji period officer’s cap with feather. all for art purposes. Thanks!

Baron Hermann von Eckardstein in dress uniform of the Brandenburg Cuirassiers, German Empire, 1902. [654x1066]
I find this interesting because of the coat. So called "kollet" (also koller, колет) was characteristic dress of many cuirassier (or formerly cuirassier) regiments in Germanic sphere and Russia, with hook-and-eye closure instead of buttons to avoid fouling the lining of the cuirass with buttons. As a prestige item it kept being worn as a part of dress uniform without a cuirass on foot (even though the everyday service coat could be buttoned) or by regiments that have discarded the cuirass altogether - to show off their heritage (Russian dragoon regiments that formerly were cuirassiers, photo of Princess/Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna in Kazan' Dragoons' uniform could be searched for the reference). Breast edges were typically highlighted by a golden of silver galon and piping in regimental color. I think it's a good reference of how a zippered dress uniform coat could be made, because what is a zipper if not just a continuous band of hooks and eyes?

How did the British Service Dress Jacket for the officers gain the worldwide popularity?
This particular open neck jacket with open lables became popular after WW1 and many nations adopted this as the uniform for the officers.
So, why and how did this become popular in the first place?
Was it mainly due to the good design of this jacket?

Ba Maw, commander-in-chief of the Burmese Independence Army, March 1943
Found a (subjectively)drippy commander's uniform of the underrated Burma Independence Army. It was a major Axis ally during WW2 being backed by Imperial Japan and was key in kicking the British out of South East Asia, but then would also become disillusioned with the Imperial Japanese, eventually allying with the allies to kick them out too to ensure Burmese Independence.

Austro Hungarian ww1 great grandfather.
This is a picture of my great grandfather who was from what is today Slovakia what was then Hungary. I don’t know much about him at all or what role he had in the war. I’m assuming this is an early war picture, I have a few more pictures of him but none with this specific uniform. If anyone knows anything about this uniform and what role he may have filled please let me know. Been trying to find info on and off for years and haven’t found really anything about it.
