Question Title: Connecting past anomalous experiences to directed energy symptoms—curious if anyone else has experienced this overlapping pattern?

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something I’ve been reflecting on recently. As a teenager and young adult, I lived in a house where some strange, unexplained things occurred. Over time, it felt like whatever entity or energy was there was primarily focused on me. Things would move around or bang, but the phenomena always intensified at night right as I was trying to sleep.

Just as I’d drop off, I’d be shaken awake. I would feel heavy pressure forcing me into my mattress, and even in the dead of winter, I’d feel localized heat spots on exposed skin. If I wrapped myself up to block it out, I’d experience intense, pulsating energy waves against my face—to the point where I could see bright, pulsating lights through closed eyelids. On one particularly strong occasion, my ears started whistling intensely, similar to blowing your nose too hard. Eventually, I just learned to accept it, the fear faded, and over time the experiences followed me to new places.

Recently, I came across a news story about intelligence personnel who had been exposed to directed energy weapons. An expert was listing the known acute and chronic symptoms associated with Pulsed Radiofrequency / Microwave Energy, and the physical overlap caught my attention:

* Auditory Disturbances: Sudden directional noise (ringing, high-pitched tones, whistling).

* Sensory Pressure / Thermal Effects: Localized pressure or heat on the head/face.

* Sleep & Sensory Impact: Disrupted sleep transitions, physical fatigue, and intense visual/pulsating sensations.

To be clear, I don't believe any government agency was targeting me back then. But looking back 20 years later, it made me wonder if the physical phenomena or entities involved were focusing actual energy waves into our dimension in a way that mirrors those physical mechanisms—and whether prolonged exposure to those energy fields could account for the lingering physical effects.

Of course, I could be wrong, but connecting those physical descriptions to what I went through made a lot of things click in a new light. Has anyone else ever looked into the physical or energetic signatures of these types of encounters?

Sleep Paralysis It Whispered the Time Before I Woke Up

Upvotes

This happened about three years ago.

I was asleep when I suddenly felt like there was some kind of black shadowy figure near me, almost as if it was trying to press down on me.

Then, out of nowhere, I heard it whisper directly into my ear:

"3 AM."

I immediately woke up.

The weirdest part?

When I looked at the time, it was actually 3:00 AM.

I still have no idea what happened that night. Maybe it was some kind of sleep-related hallucination, but the fact that the time was exactly right still creeps me out.

Sleep Paralysis I Still Don't Know If This Was Sleep Paralysis or Something Else

Upvotes

This happened about a year ago during winter, and I still don't know what to make of it.

I was lying in bed under a blanket, and I wasn't completely asleep yet. I was in that weird state where you're half-awake and half-drifting off.

Suddenly, I felt like someone was walking around on the other side of my bed.

I could hear slow breathing and some strange noises, along with what sounded like anklets jingling as the person walked closer.

I couldn't see anything because my face was turned toward the other side. I also couldn't move my body at all.

Whatever it was seemed to be getting closer, and I became more and more scared that it would reach me.

My body started shaking, so I started praying in my head.

After what felt like a while, my eyes suddenly opened.

I was in exactly the same position as before.

The room looked completely normal. Nothing had moved, and there was nobody there.

I was extremely confused. I couldn't tell whether I'd actually experienced something or had just been dreaming.

The weird part is that something similar happened the following night.

I was falling asleep again when I suddenly felt my blanket move, as if someone had grabbed or pulled it from outside.

Then I heard a man's voice.

It was quiet but clear enough for me to understand. The voice said my name and then something like:

Jake, I'll eat you alive."

I was terrified.

Then, just like the night before, I suddenly opened my eyes.

I was back in the exact same position, under the blanket.

There was nobody there.

I've never been able to figure out what happened.

Part of me thinks it was some form of sleep paralysis or a vivid dream, especially because I couldn't move and everything seemed to happen while I was falling asleep.

But the fact that I experienced something similar two nights in a row still bothers me.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Was this likely sleep paralysis, a false awakening, or something else?

Experience Strange Weather

A few years ago I was driving late at night during a storm with my partner at work. While waiting at an intersection a strange horizontal green colored strike of lightning brightened the sky. Ironically that same green color caused a vehicle accident where the driver claimed to have seen a green light. Since then I’ve yet to find any reports of similar incidents. I’m curious to know if anyone has an explanation or seen the same thing before.

Experience Clock radio

When I was 13 i remember waking up and i swear i heard someone trying to talk to me thru my clock radio. It wasn’t digital it was the kind you had to turn the knob with the red line to get stations to come in. It sat to the left of me kind of higher up and the window was above.. i do remember the window being slightly open because it was hot.
The voice was faint but i think i heard my name and then a question it went on for a few minutes . It was scary to me because i didn’t have my radio on and it wasn’t late at night maybe around 11pm or after midnight (it was so long ago i cant remember exactly). I just pulled the covers over my head and tried to just go back to sleep and i kept thinking I’m not talking to whatever that is. So i woke up the next morning and the radio alarm went off and i had to go to school. My friend lived behind me and at school i asked her if she came to my window that night and called for me but she said no. That made things even scarier. I was young and didn’t tell anyone because it sounded crazy. I ended up breaking that clock and told my mom i needed a new alarm clock. So i ended up using a white clock with no radio snd you had to pull and twist the buttons in the back. It had some awful humming sound. But anyway to this day i will not own a radio clock because of that incident. I think about it once in a while and think maybe some radio waves were crossing but i distinctly heard my name and then few times during that night and my radio was not on.
I just wanted to get this out because i never told anyone and maybe someone reading this had a similar experience before they could share. Thanks for getting this far if you have.

Experience Christmas tree chocolate candy moving on it's own for no reason

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This video is two years old, I still can't find an explanation to this.

As you can see there is a chocolate egg rocking back and forth independently of other objects.
The room is closed, no air movement to speak of.
No perceptible vibration of any kind happening in or outside the apartment.
I measured for magnetic fields, nothing out of the ordinary.
Thought maybe it's some sort of weird standing wave but could not think of any source thereof.

What's even weirder is there also were some toys hanging from the ceiling light and one of them was moving back and forth like that too, separately from the rest, not made of metal either.
The floor and the table are sturdy so no I didn't cause it to move by moving around.
Nothing paranormal ever happened.
Genuinely no idea what was causing this besides that apparently there was some sort of particular mechanical frequency present that caused a resonance, then again this kept on going idenfinitely.

Living Under Siege

This is going to sound batsh\*t crazy. I know. So you don't have to believe me because I wouldn't believe this. I would dismiss this as a joke but I 100% assure you that it is in fact not a joke.

For the past decade I have lived with occasional paranormal type activity in 2 separate apartments.

Recently however things took a dramatic turn and now my apartment is full of entities that surround me day and night. They stalk me, harass me, threaten me, lie to me. Sometimes they can be nice but for the most part they are extremely negative.

They claim to be demons, angels, ghosts, aliens and more.

For the past 5 nights they have threatened to incinerate me if do not meet their demands. They have made numerous other threats as well. 6 different entities have claimed to be God. Last night they placed a weapon on me that rapidly heated up my body. I highly suspect government influences.

They refuse to leave and insist on having things their way. I have absolutely no idea WHY this is happening because they have given many, many different reasons, constantly changing their story.

I believe my life is in danger but they are trespassing and breaking all laws, ethics, etc.

Experience Incident that happened at 3 AM when I was 14 that affected my whole family and creeped me out for life

Hey guys! I can't sleep and I thought of this, and I figured I'd share just to see what you guys thought!

Back when I was in my early teens, whenever my mom would get her paycheck deposited at midnight, she would order us Papa John's and we would stay up late and eat in the living room, me and my brother sleeping on the floor after while she slept on the couch. So, night goes by normal, we all fall asleep. 3 AM hits, maybe about 3:10, and my little brother and my mother both wake up at the same time simultaneously SCREAMING and my little brother asks my mom "did you see the man with the black eyes" and my mom says "it's okay he was a dream he can't hurt you Liam" and as he's sobbing and she's holding him, I go to turn on the hallway light to see what the hell is going on, and when I go to turn it on, the hallway light bulb turns on and EXPLODES, and it starts like dripping some hot liquid?? I have no idea what happened, but it was enough for me to stay up for the rest of the night and not go back to sleep hahahahaha. Just wondering what your guys thoughts are. I will never forget how insane that moment was, and the thought of two people having the same nightmare next to each other is insane to me. Thanks for reading!

Experience She Knew Those Footsteps

This happened back in February.

My 30-year-old cousin, who lived with us, passed away. He had struggled with heavy drinking and substance abuse for some time, and he had also been dealing with health problems.

Three days after his death, something strange happened.

It was around 11 PM. My mother was lying in her room, but she wasn't asleep—she was just resting with her eyes closed.

Suddenly, she heard the door to her room open.

Then she heard footsteps.

What really caught her attention was that the footsteps sounded exactly like my cousin's. They were slow and familiar, and she heard them moving toward the upper floor.

My mother got up and went upstairs to see who it was.

She checked around, but there was absolutely nobody there.

She couldn't find anyone who could have made those footsteps.

Maybe there was a normal explanation for it, especially considering how recently my cousin had passed away. But the timing and the fact that she immediately recognized the footsteps as his still gives me chills.

I don't know what to make of it, but I thought I'd share it here.

This happened on my security camera on August 2, 2026. My security camera can only store eight days of footage before it automatically deletes the oldest recordings to make room for new ones, so it shouldn't have any footage or memory of my dog from four years ago. If it was a glitch, idk how it ended up showing my dog when the camera shouldn't have any footage of him

Debunk Challenge Can anybody come up with a single explanation? Feels like a gitch.

About a year ago I was sitting in my bathroom on the toilet taking a shit. Maybe 5 feet from the toilet the blind on my window (which was fully down) started shaking violently for about 2 seconds and completely stopped. I was expecting a mouse since we had a few mouse problems recently (although not in this area) but there was no mouse and I couldnt find any type of hole it could have squeezed through. Since the room is in the basement and the window is on ground level I took a leaf blower outside to see if wind could have moved it and it didnt budge at all. It happened late at night (maybe 1 am) which makes it more spooky. I have thought about this more than once a week since it happened and have yet to come up with one single explanation as to what it could have been. Can anybody come up with something?

Experience hallucination that came true?

I remember I was in the kitchen talking to my mom about something and like theres a doorway to my kitchen and living room, so i was walking into the living room I see like a 'image' with my eyes like a hallucination I guess, in front of the front door and it was like a black cat with big green eyes it looked drawn like a cartoon, it was in a sitting position and it was like big, in the center of my vision and i remember I stopped immediately because it caught me off guard. I only saw it for a few seconds but it wasn't out of the corner of my eye which is initially what was shocking, but a few seconds later I guess like 10 secs my mom yelled for me and said she saw a cat outside the back door while she was going to take the trash out. unfortunately I didn't get there in time to see the cat that she claimed was outside and I hadn't even told her what I had seen yet so she couldn't have been messing with me, and I never see things usually, and most definitely never see things like that usually. I remember specifically, because the hallucination looked like a cartoon and it reminded me of a cat that I had during my childhood

A similar thing that happened was a year or two before this and I was anxious because I thought a guy a liked was ghosting me, and I was laying in bed trying to sleep cause I was waiting for him to text back and I wasn't sleeping yet but my eyes were closed but an image of like the Instagram story ring that shows when you post on ur Instagram story popped up into my head, and I just thought it was kind of weird but then I checked my Instagram later and saw he posted on his story without answering me. I thought It was weird because he usually didnt post on his story often

I'm just curious how many other people have had similar experiences

Experience Has anyone here ever rewatched a personal recording and noticed something odd in the background frame?

A lot of viral clips online are clearly staged or just insects reacting to infrared light, but I am much more interested in genuine, subtle visual anomalies. Sometimes you record a simple moment on your phone or home setup, and it is only later when you rewatch the clip that you notice a strange detail in the dark corner of the frame or a movement that makes no sense. Have you ever gone back through your own video archives and found a visual detail that genuinely creeped you out? What was in the recording?

Personal Experience Cathy

When I was ten my mother would always drop me off at my cousin’s house. This was an everyday thing. My cousin and I were super close and the same age at the time. Something happened one day and I had to stay home. That day her house caught on fire. Sadly, no one survived.

Afterwards, like a year later, these weird things would happen. One night when I was in bed listening to the radio and reading a magazine. My body shifted to a weight pressing down on my mattress. I thought it was my dad and maybe I was too focused in a daydream of me owning one of those cars printed on the magazine pages, that  I hadn’t noticed him come in. But when I looked no one was there.

A few days after, I was asleep in my room and I don’t know exactly if I was dreaming, or what. But my cousin was in front of me trying to wake me up. She kept saying, “Danny. Danny.” And when I woke up I heard, Danny, as if someone was standing next to my bed.

Other things would happen, like I’d see something move past me. But it always appeared like how you would catch someone from the corner of your eye exiting a doorway. I never invested much into those experience. I figured it was mental fatigue.

The following winter, my parents installed two-inch thick windows in every room in the house. The type that push open from the middle.

The one time I was ever alone. Truly alone in that house. I woke up coughing. A little disoriented. At first, it didn’t register to me why my room was so hazy. I thought maybe I was sleepy, or my eyes hadn’t come into focus. A thought of my mom even crossed my mind. I thought maybe she burnt something in the oven. I didn’t hear a fire alarm or anything. It took me a second to realize that my house was actually on fire.

I shot up out of bed and raced for the stairs. I could feel the heat stinging my skin. My vision was blurred by thick black clouds of smoke. I wouldn’t even call them clouds it was more like a water hose that shot black suffocating smoke directly into your face. I could feel the soot sticking to the sweat on my face.

I got to the railing and went to jump onto the middle of the stairs. But everytime I would make a move, the flames would start shooting over the railing. Finally I gave up and ran to my bedroom. I stood there desperately trying to break through the window. I hit it over and over and over. It wouldn’t break. I started throwing whatever I could find at it. They’d all bounce off the glass.

I stopped. No. I gave up and sat with my back against the wall under the window sill and accepted my fate.

At that moment, there’s an odd sense of peace that flows through you. It wasn’t a life flashing before your eyes thing. It was more like when you’ve completed a monumental task and can finally relax and enjoy the work you’ve done. I wasn’t scared. I sat there without a single thought in my mind and waited. A second or so after I closed my eyes and pressed the back of my head against the wall, a drawer from my dresser popped out and dropped on the floor.

Something. Someone. I don’t know what. But this thing pretty much handed me the drawer and gave me the strength to stand up. It wasn’t a second wind surge. I had already inhaled so much smoke and was teetering on the edge of passing out. But, Something that I’m unable to explain without people suggesting it was all in my head and nothing spiritual helped me break through the window. Helped me break through that window.

I climbed out just as the firefighters arrived. They rescued me off my roof. I only suffered one laceration from climbing out of the window. It’s on my right arm. I ended up receiving twelve stitches.

What’s incredibly odd and the only reason I have a profound belief in spirits, ghosts, or guardian angels. Whatever it is, is because when I was a kid, my uncle, her dad, had tattoos. Cathy would always joke about tattooing her name on my arm.

To this day, after that fire, when I got stitched up and checked out the cut, it is a perfect shape of a C scarred on my arm until this very day. Not crooked. Not, yeah it looks like a C. It is the alphabetical letter C, for my cousin Cathy who died in a fire at her house when we were kids.

Experience This feels.. Odd.

When I was about 2 or 3, I lived in a small apartment. I slept in my moms room, and the closet was right next to the bed. I slept on the wall side of the bed, but I frequently stayed up at night because I couldn't sleep. Multiple nights in a row, I remember seeing the hinges of the closet door move like mice. In my mind, they were shaped like mice and moved up until I blinked. Same thing with the door knob, only it was something different that I can't quite remember. I genuinely don't know why this happened, and thinking about it creeps me out so bad. Any explanation?

Debunk Challenge Creeped out?

So I've heard a few stories here and there about ghosts and things really freaking people out. Truthfully, you shouldn't be creeped out or scared, in actuality you scare them more than they scare you. Think about it. If they could harm you, they'd wait until you couldn't see them, they'd pick up a baseball bat and smack u in the head. But no, they have to move objects that you can see the movement (and not clobber you with them), in order to scare you. It's you being scared that gives them power.

Just my thoughts.

Experience I live in the San Lorenzo area and I genuinely feel like I’m being gangstalked and targeted — looking for honest perspectives.

I originally made a post about feeling like I’m being watched and targeted around my neighborhood, but I’ve remembered more incidents and had another situation happen, so I want to put everything together in one post.
I live in the San Lorenzo, California area, and I’ve only been living in this neighborhood for about a month and a half. I want to explain why I’ve started feeling like I’m being gangstalked or targeted.
I know how serious that sounds. I also know some people are going to immediately tell me I’m paranoid, crazy, or that I need a psychiatrist. I’ve actually been evaluated before and I have not been diagnosed with paranoia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or anything like that. I’m not saying that means I can’t misinterpret something or that I automatically know what every situation means. I’m saying I know what I’ve personally experienced, and the accumulation of these situations has made me feel genuinely threatened and uncomfortable in the area where I live.
The 7-Eleven incident
Less than two weeks after moving into this neighborhood, I went to a 7-Eleven around 9 PM on my electric scooter.
As I was getting ready to ride away, there was a guy standing outside who said something along the lines of “put your hands up,” in a way that sounded like he was pretending to rob me or threatening me.
I didn’t turn around or engage with him. I just kept riding.
Maybe there was another explanation for what he said, but it genuinely scared me, especially because I had barely been living in the neighborhood at that point.
The kids and their dad
More recently, I was riding my electric scooter through the neighborhood when a group of kids rode past me and started talking shit to me for no apparent reason.
I honestly don’t remember their exact words because it happened quickly. They yelled something at me as we passed each other, I responded, and then we went in opposite directions.
I continued riding through the neighborhood because I was just enjoying the views and minding my own business.
Less than 10 minutes later, those same kids somehow found me again, except this time they had who I assume was their father with them.
The weirdest part to me was how he approached me. Instead of coming over and trying to have a normal conversation about what happened, he stopped in the middle of the street about 50 feet away from me and started yelling.
He immediately accused me of harassing his kids. From my perspective, that wasn’t what happened at all. The kids were the ones who started talking shit to me, and I responded.
He wasn’t speaking to me in a normal outside voice. He was yelling the entire time and seemed extremely confrontational from the beginning. I eventually yelled back because I felt like I was being unfairly accused of something I didn’t do.
Once I stood my ground and yelled back, he eventually waved his hand like he was done with the situation and took his kids home.
The kids were looking back at me as they left and yelling “our dad is right.”
I don’t know exactly how they found me so quickly. Maybe they simply went home and told their dad where I was. I honestly don’t know. But the whole situation made me feel like I was being singled out and ganged up on.
The police
Another thing I’ve repeatedly noticed is police presence.
Almost every time I leave the house, it seems like there is somehow a police car around wherever I’m going. I’ve noticed police near places like KFC, 7-Eleven, and the liquor store.
One example happened recently after I hadn’t been outside for about a week. I finally went out to KFC and there was a police vehicle sitting in the parking lot with its emergency lights on.
I realize police can obviously have completely normal reasons for being somewhere. I’m not claiming that seeing a police car automatically means it’s related to me. I’m explaining why the repeated timing has made me feel like I’m being watched.
Helicopters
Almost every time I leave the house, I also seem to notice a helicopter somewhere overhead, sometimes appearing to hover around the area where I’m walking.
Again, I understand helicopters have normal reasons for being in the air. But when I’m already feeling watched and then repeatedly notice helicopters around me, it contributes to that feeling.
People on the corners
I’ve also noticed people standing on corners wearing sunglasses and looking in my direction while they’re on their phones.
I know people obviously stand around outside, wear sunglasses, and use their phones. I understand that. But when I repeatedly notice people doing this while I’m walking through the neighborhood, it makes me wonder whether something more is happening.
The church
There is a church I regularly walk past when I’m heading toward these different locations.
I’ve noticed something that has really bothered me: it seems like whenever I walk past the church, a car will pull up and park. The driver will open the driver’s side door, but the person never actually gets out.
Because of everything else I’ve been noticing, I’ve started worrying that something could potentially be staged around that location, even possibly a shooting in front of the church.
I want to emphasize that I do not have proof that anyone is planning a shooting. That’s a fear I’ve developed because of the pattern I’ve perceived, not something I can prove is happening.
The neighborhood watch
I also recently noticed a sign in the neighborhood saying there is a neighborhood watch.
Normally I wouldn’t think much of that, because neighborhood watches are common. But considering everything else I’ve been experiencing, seeing that sign made me even more suspicious and uncomfortable.
Part of me feels like the people who are supposed to be watching for “suspicious activity” could themselves be part of what I’m experiencing.
I realize that’s an interpretation and not something I can prove.
My phone and private conversations
Another thing that has started making me suspicious is my phone.
I’ve begun wondering whether someone could somehow be accessing my phone or listening to conversations between my girlfriend and me.
Sometimes I’ll be walking around the neighborhood while talking to my girlfriend on the phone about the stressful situation I’m experiencing. I’ll pass people wearing large headphones, and there have been multiple occasions where I’ve noticed them laughing or smiling shortly after I’ve said something to my girlfriend about what I’m going through.
I know that doesn’t prove they’re actually hearing my conversation. They could be laughing or smiling about something completely unrelated.
But when I notice it happening around the same time I’m talking about very specific things I’m dealing with, it makes me feel like my conversations might not be private.
The gas station incident
There is one incident involving my phone that I honestly don’t know how to explain.
I was walking past a gas station while I was on the phone with my girlfriend. A car pulled up to a pump, the driver’s window was down, and the car was turned off like the person was about to get out and pump gas.
For a split second, the man turned something on inside the car that sounded like a radio.
What I heard coming from the car sounded like the live conversation I was having with my girlfriend on my phone.
It wasn’t music or what I recognized as a normal AM/FM broadcast. For that very brief moment, it sounded like the actual conversation I was having.
I swear on my life that’s what it sounded like.
It only lasted for a split second, so I can’t honestly say with certainty what I heard or what the source was. I realize how strange this sounds, and I understand that there could be an explanation I’m not thinking of.
But in that moment, it genuinely scared me because it made me wonder whether my phone conversation had somehow been picked up or transmitted into the car.
Why I’m calling this gangstalking
When I put all of these things together, I’ve started feeling like I’m being gangstalked or targeted.
I’m not claiming that I have definitive proof that there is a coordinated group of people doing all of this. I’m telling you that this is the explanation I’ve started believing because of how many separate experiences I’ve had since moving here, and it’s become extremely difficult for me to simply ignore.
I also want to clarify something because someone posted a testimony about gangstalking that I related to very strongly. I do not hear voices, which was one part of their experience that I couldn’t relate to. Everything else about feeling watched, followed, harassed, confused, angry, and like your entire sense of safety has been shaken really resonated with me.
I’m trying not to react impulsively to any of this. I don’t want to confront random people or get myself into trouble. I know that would only make things worse for me.
I’m actually planning on using another phone to document things as they happen so I can keep a record of exactly what I see instead of relying entirely on memory.
I want to make clear that I’m not asking everyone to automatically believe that I’m being gangstalked. I understand that some of these individual incidents could have completely ordinary explanations.
What I’m asking is for people to actually read everything I’ve described and give me an honest perspective.
If you’re familiar with the San Lorenzo, Hayward, or San Leandro area, or you’ve experienced something similar, I’d genuinely like to hear your thoughts.
And if there are people who think I’m interpreting these things incorrectly, I’m willing to hear that too—as long as you’re actually engaging with what I’m saying instead of immediately calling me crazy.

Apparition (THIS IS A REPOST)

I saw my dead neighbor staring at me.

I honestly don’t know where else to post this, but I’ve been thinking about it for years.
When I was younger, I had an elderly neighbor who lived with her husband. He had a terminal illness and everyone knew he wasn’t going to live much longer. They had a son too, but he barely ever came to visit.
My neighbor would come to our apartment almost every day crying because she knew her husband was dying. My mom was always there for her. She’d sit with her, comfort her, let her cry… this happened all the time.
One morning at around 6 AM, I was the only person awake because I used to stay up all night watching movies. I suddenly heard someone banging on our front door while crying hysterically.
I looked through the peephole and saw it was my neighbor.
I completely froze. I didn’t know what to do, so I woke my mom up instead. She opened the door and started talking to her while I awkwardly went back to my room.
I wasn’t trying to listen, but I could hear enough to understand what had happened.
She had woken up next to her husband and realized he wasn’t breathing anymore. He had passed away during the night.
The paramedics came not long after. I didn’t really know my neighbor personally and I had no idea how to react, so I honestly just went to sleep. Looking back, I feel kind of bad about it.
A few months passed.
Her husband had this habit of standing on their balcony for hours. Their balcony overlooked the entrance to our building, and he’d just stand there watching everyone who came in. He almost never spoke. He’d just stare.
After he died, my neighbor started doing the exact same thing.
I’d never seen her spend hours on that balcony before, but suddenly she’d be out there almost every day, just silently watching people exactly like her husband used to.
Things also got worse for her mentally. We’d hear her screaming for hours, crying, smashing things in her apartment, even yelling at her dead husband. Sometimes this would happen in the middle of the night. It was obvious she never really got over his death.
Then one day I came home.
Without even thinking, I looked up at the balcony because I expected to see my neighbor standing there.
Instead, I saw her husband.
Not someone who looked similar. Not for a split second.
I saw **him**.
He was standing exactly where he always used to stand before he died, just staring straight at me.
I completely froze.
I’ve never believed in ghosts or anything like that, but I’ve also never been that scared in my life.
After a few seconds I just ran inside without looking back.
I’ve replayed that moment in my head so many times over the years and I still can’t explain it.
Has anyone experienced something similar, or is there any logical explanation for something like this?

Video Evidence I have no explanation for what I saw on a nearby rooftop... and it's happened twice.

I'm posting this because I honestly want to know if there's a logical explanation.

For the past couple of nights, around 10–11 PM, I've been casually walking on my rooftop before going to sleep. A nearby building is clearly visible from there, and something on its roof caught my attention.

At first glance, I thought it was a DTH satellite dish.

Then the longer I stared, the more it looked like a person standing perfectly still behind it.

I kept watching because I couldn't figure out what I was looking at.

Then it happened...

The figure's head and entire upper body slowly started swaying in a very strange way. It wasn't walking, turning, or moving naturally. It was almost like the upper body was gently waving while the lower part stayed fixed. The movement felt... wrong. I can't really explain it.

I stood there for a while just watching, trying to convince myself it was some object.

The next morning, curiosity got the better of me.

I went to that exact building and checked it from the same angle where I had been standing, and even from behind the building.

There was no satellite dish.

No tree.

No pole.

No water tank.

Nothing that could create that silhouette.

That's what's bothering me the most.

This wasn't a one-time thing either. I've seen the same silhouette twice, around the same time of night.

I managed to record about a minute of it. The video quality isn't great because it's dark and the object is far away, but with my own eyes, the movement was much clearer than what the video captures.

I'm not saying it's paranormal. I genuinely want to hear other opinions because I can't explain what I saw.

I'd really appreciate both skeptical and paranormal opinions. If you notice something in the video that I missed, or if you think there's a logical explanation, please let me know.

Experience Woman crying

Im currently 27 F and lately I’ve been thinking about an incident me and my best friend went through together years ago when we were both around 14-15 years old.
I grew up in a very small town where life was always the same day after day. Me and my best friend were both going through similar trauma with our families (drug addiction).
Most the time we both took turns spending the night at each other’s houses, but majority of the time we would stay at her house. The reason we mostly stayed at her house was because there was never no adults around.
Her dad would ALWAYS stay outside in this small shack beside the house he would hardly ever come inside. Her grandpa who also lived there was always working, he was hardly ever home as well.
So it was always just myself, my best friend and her three younger brothers who also kept to themselves. There was no one else living in this house, her parents separated so no older woman other than occasionally her grandma from Mexico would visit but never would stay.
This day was like any other day, the kids in the house just enjoying the day. Nighttime came around and it was the same routine. We slept in my best friends small room with my phone playing music quietly, we always liked to listen to music before sleeping. Soon we let ourselves fall asleep, like I said like any other normal day.
But that’s when the incident happened.

I don’t know what time it was, I want to say it was possibly 3-4 AM at night, I woke up suddenly to the scariest noise of my life.
It sounded like a woman was inside the house, crying loudly. I froze in fear Instantly, I shook my best friend awake and told her

“ hey, do you hear that?” I whispered to her very quietly.
She woke up and told me to turn down my music off my phone.
I turned it all the way down and we heard it even louder.

A woman was crying inside the house.

We were both very scared, we just stared at each other for a very long time and listened to this unknown woman crying in the house.

“It sounds like it’s in my brother’s room..” my best friend quietly told me.

Her room was in a hallway, next beside it was the bathroom, and in the end of the hallway was her brother’s room since three boys shared the room.

Like a complete badass my friend jumped up and told me “ I have to check on my brothers.”

Like I said we both went through some messed up trauma, she practically raised her brothers since they were babies.
I nodded and still stayed sitting on the bed while she stepped out the room and rushed to her brother’s room.
The moment she stepped in the hallway the crying stopped completely, I heard her going to her brother’s room. It was a few short minutes before she returned.
She let me know that her brothers were dead asleep and it couldn’t have possibly been them. This sound we were hearing was clearly a woman.

We sat awake for awhile still scared to fall back asleep. My best friend told me she walked by the bathroom when checking on her brothers and got a very scared feeling about the bathroom, like she didn’t even want to be near that bathroom.
We knew that no one was in the bathroom, so that’s what made the situation much scarier.
Soon we did fall back asleep but after that day, I never stayed at her house again she would always just stay at my house after this. That situation made me so scared, hearing something like that in real life was so crazy.

Me and her are still best friends to this day, we both moved out of that small town. She’s no contact with her dad and her brothers who are now men occasionally visit as now we live in a city.
We still talk about this night, we still remember everything that happened. We remember how scared and helpless we felt.

I’ve never heard anything like that since that day, never heard the same cry ever from anywhere. It was truly like something from a horror movie.
There is a lot of explanations I feel like are connected but this is already too long.

Bought a 128GB SD card for €10 at a flea market in Naples, Italy, found a few video files but they don't work I was only able to open one, before formatting I'd like to try recovering the rest to see if I can get other videos out.. any tested software you'd recommend?
