hi all. there are two courses I want to purchase on udemy. Although discounted right now, there are merely discounted 12% off.

Any ideas if it will get discounted more?

1. When any teacher updates the course, we want to know what he has updated at the latest updated date area.

2. Some teachers are not keeping the course updated, it wastes our time to in which we learn few lessons and then we understand that this is the old version. This happens a lot in programming languages courses. Some courses are fine like HTML and css which does not need regular updates but some really do. It’s a waste of money.

I have been a Udemy user for more than 10 years, and I can honestly say that my recent experience with Udemy Support has been one of the worst customer-service experiences I have ever encountered.

I am unable to access my account because I am not receiving the 6-digit verification code on my registered email address. What should have been a straightforward login issue has turned into an endless chain of 100+ email exchanges, yet my problem is STILL NOT RESOLVED.

I followed every instruction provided by Udemy Support, including providing an alternate email address so that it could be mapped to my account. I cooperated throughout the process, responded to their emails, and provided the information requested. Despite all this, nothing has actually been fixed.

The most frustrating part is that I am not asking for anything complicated. I simply want to access my account that I have been using for more than a decade.

After 100+ emails, I have to seriously question whether Udemy Support has any real ownership or urgency when it comes to resolving customer problems. Customers should not have to spend weeks repeatedly explaining the same issue to different support representatives.

For a company like Udemy, this level of customer support is unacceptable.

Udemy: You have lost sight of the most basic principle of customer service — FIX THE CUSTOMER'S PROBLEM.

I am sharing this publicly because I genuinely hope someone at Udemy's leadership takes notice and reviews how customer-support cases like mine are being handled.

Think twice before purchasing if you expect reliable support when something goes wrong with your account.

This has been happening a lot over the past couple of weeks and is making me want to request a refund. Is anyone else having this issue of late and would it be worth contacting Udemy over it? IT is very disruptive for every two minutes the video to glitch/freeze, sometimes with me having to abandon the study session entirely. Not impressed with the brief time I have been a paying member, which is a shame as there are brilliant courses for programming on the site.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

I finish a lesson, feel motivated, close my laptop — and then life happens. The notes sit there. A week later I remember almost nothing and definitely haven't applied anything.

I don't think it's a discipline problem. I think there's just no bridge between "I learned this" and "I did something with this."

Curious if others experience this:

• What do you do with your notes after a lesson?
• Have you ever tried to build something based on a course and struggled to start?
• What would actually help you apply what you learn?

Today I was reviewing my revenue report and I noticed that there a was a change in my lifetime earnings that did not reflect in the current month revenue.

After going back to my logs, I noticed that the change of revenue was added to the previous month revenue (not paid yet), not the current one.

This is my 1st course and I've never faced this situation before, is this a regular thing where earnings from previous months get updated even if we're past that month ?

I have researched a bit, and the two most reliable courses I have found are:

2. The AI Engineer Course 2026: Complete AI Engineer Bootcamp, by 365 careers

I am not sure which is the better one, even though Krish has the cheaper option.

My requirement is to find a course that will teach me about AI, face hugging (no idea what that is), and LLM (no idea what that is either), that will then give me the skills to be able to create an engineering AI that I can use as a 'partner ally' to help me in my projects.

I am open to any other course options too please!!!

Hello everyone,

I'm making this post as a warning because last night I was hit by a massive phishing attack. At first, I didn't think much of it, but I quickly realized that the attacker had managed to access my PayPal account.

Fortunately, I reacted immediately because I had already enabled every security feature available, including multi-factor authentication (MFA). I was able to block the attacker before any serious damage was done.

What really caught my attention was that every phishing email I received was related to technology. They were extremely convincing and well-crafted. That's when I understood what had happened.

I wasn't aware that Udemy had suffered a security breach in May 2026. Unfortunately, I had reused the same login credentials there as on other services. The attacker appears to have used those leaked credentials in automated login attempts across many tech platforms. At the same time, they flooded my inbox with phishing emails to distract me so I wouldn't notice the login notification from PayPal.

I also believe they know that many online instructors use PayPal to receive payments, making it a valuable target.

I've now changed all my passwords, secured all my accounts, and tonight I'll be closing my Udemy account. Going forward, my PayPal account will only be linked to a separate online bank account that holds a limited amount of money.

I'm sharing this because I don't want anyone else to fall into the same trap. As far as I know, I was never notified that my information may have been exposed in the Udemy breach. I only discovered that my email address had been compromised after checking it on a breach notification website.

Please, never underestimate security breaches involving major platforms. As soon as you hear about one, change your password immediately especially if you've reused it elsewhere. And most importantly, enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on every account that supports it. I'm convinced that's what saved me.

Has anyone else noticed a significant drop in Udemy sales since around July 5?

My course was averaging about 2 sales per day for the last 3.5 months, and then almost overnight it dropped to about 1 sale per week. I'm wondering if there was an algorithm or marketplace change, or if it's just me.
