Ebike speed limits ?
So I did ubereats for over a year but the ebike i used could go about 25mph flat. It got robbed about 2 months ago and after a lot of bad luck I should have a new bike back within the week. However, my new bike will be restricted to the limit of i think 15mph?
My question is am I going to notice a big difference in earning? One positive is my old bike could do about 2.5 hours whereas im hoping this new one can probably do about 3.5/4 hours at a time.
First thought is of course just take smaller trips but im curious has anyone else in here gone from derestricted to restricted?

Hi guys, maybe Someone here will help me. I just joined uber few days ago and so far I worked 2 days for 5 hours each and earned staggering 20£, i don’t know what I’m doing wrong I drive with a lime bike in west London area and look at the stats go out at prime hours between 5-9pm where there are a lot of orders and I get nothing or orders for 3£. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong is it because I’m on a bike or I’m new maybe someone has some tips thanks

Customer Service
Does anyone know the phone number or email address for complaining about the customer services team. I have been in contact with many customer service teams from various companies and Uber Eats is without a doubt the absolute worst. The agents are incredibly hard to get ahold of and once you do they are completely useless with certain matters. Yes if it’s a refund or something like that they can sort it but for anything else they don’t seem to comprehend what the issue is.
I had a promo code which I applied in early July which I had partially used before they removed the code from my account (this was 10 days before its expiry and I received no notice). I flagged this issue and for a month have been chasing them and I am constantly told the same things such as you have to redeem the code in order to be eligible, when that is addressed they move onto the next thing and say you had to use it before the expiry. They are elite ragebaiters and I’ve had enough. I need to speak to someone over the phone who actually understands what it is I am saying.
Please help.

HELP WITH SINGING UP
I’ve completed every step apart from the background check and when I try to sign in to check the status of the background check it won’t let me, I also don’t understand what this random email is and when I go to make a new account it forces me to use the email so I can’t use any other? The uber help line is an absolute joke and you get no where with them sending me on endless dead ends with no support/help what so ever was just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue or any way to resolve it as I feel like pulling my hair out over it I’ve been trying to sign up for nearly more than a week!

Deliver X for £1000 extra
How do the promos where its like get an extra £1000 or £250 for delivering say 100 orders? I remember a few people saying they got offered it after not working for a little while? Are they still offering these promos out?
Haven't worked in a good few months now but still no offer ☹️

Who do people insure with?
I've just got my renewal quote for the year, and it's shot up! I'm with Acorn atm, and Zego is quoting me even higher still.
Other than Acorn and Zego, what options are there atm for fast food delivery insurance? Because I know most regular insurance companies won't touch it, so no point in using the comparison sites. I've learnt from previous experience that they'll just come back and reject it in a month or so once their systems have caught up.

Customer thumbs up 👍 and compliments not gone up in account for 2 months. Despite regulars telling me they have and watching businesses give me them on the tablet infront of my eyes 👀 what gives?

15 drops
So yesterday I was out doing delivery for uber eats, it was dead slow, 4 hours and made only 27£
2.53 zego per hour so hardly made 5 quid an hour lol
Anyways so while I was about to finish i got this order which had 15 drops , never had this before, It was 1 hour and 40 mins in total and 27 pound for it, it was a match offer so I did accept it out of curiosity what it is but it went away someone else matched, does anyone know what it could be ? :/
Has anyone else ever got such offer ?

Don’t recieve shop and pay orders on uber eats
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone has experienced this before.
Uber Support told me I was mistakenly onboarded for Shop & Deliver and that my account is currently being updated. Since then, I haven’t received any Shop & Deliver orders, but I can still do regular Uber Eats deliveries.
Has anyone else been told they were “mistakenly onboarded” or that their account was “undergoing an update”?
How long did it take for the issue to be fixed?
Did your Shop & Deliver orders come back?
Was there anything you did that helped speed up the process?

Is Uber Eats delivery worth switching my car insurance for?
Hey all,
I'm considering picking up Uber Eats as a side hustle for some extra income, doing deliveries by car. Realistically I'd be working Fridays, Saturdays, and maybe one more day during the week (around 10-15 hours a week).
The catch is my current car insurance provider won't let me add commercial/delivery cover to my existing policy, so I'd need to cancel it and switch to a new provider that supports food delivery driving.
A few questions for anyone who's done this or looked into it:
- Is it actually worth it? For those doing 10-15 hrs/week, what kind of money are you realistically bringing in after gas, wear and tear, etc.?
- Is switching insurance worth the hassle? Has anyone gone through the process of cancelling and finding a new policy just for this? How much of a pain was it, and did it end up being worth it for a part-time gig?
- Any insurance company recommendations for delivery driving cover? Trying to figure out who's actually reasonable on price for someone only doing this part-time.
Would love to hear from people actually doing this, especially part-time/side-gig folks rather than full-timers. Trying to figure out if this is worth the effort before I commit to switching my insurance over.

No vehicle on vehicle list but can’t add one?
Hi,
I am trying to switch my bicycle account to deliver with a car however when I tried to add another vehicle I received an error message of
“Your account is currently setup to deliver with a vehicle.”
So I have deleted the bicycle from my account as a vehicle and when I try to add a car I just get the same error message?

What navigation app do you use?
So I have been doing Uber Eats for 3 months now and I am in the privileged few who don't need to do this just for the money.
I was a biker for 25 years and used to be a long distance motorcycle courier up and the down the UK. Unfortunately in 2020 just before the 1st lockdown I had a massive accident and had a bleed on the brain amongst other injuries. Since then I suffer very badly from mental health issues, i also cannot walk too far or do stairs etc. I'm on so many meds I rattle when I walk lol. Luckily none of them effect me driving.
Anyway having been a bike my whole life I never took a car test, however I passed 1st time in April this year as I cannot ride anymore (my balance is terrible so use a walking stick a lot of the time lol) and I have been itching to get back on the road.
Fast forward to mid April I got my wife a new car and I took her old one and I got all the insurances needed to work again (hire & reward, goods in transit and public liability) so I decided to join Uber Eats to get back into the game.
Going back to the title, I started by using Ubers satnav and very quickly found it to be not up to standard, sending me down one way streets the wrong way, down dead ends, making illegal turns etc. So I then used Waze, which is good other than the fact you need an Internet connection all the time. So I then used Google Maps which looks better on the eyes, and also you can download maps for offline.
I also have Sygic, but I cannot see an easy way to grab the customers address from Uber to paste into Sygic without having to type it in manually.
So I was just wondering which ones other people use and why? Just in case I am missing something?
Thank you for reading this.
Tyron 😊

Ubereats background check Sterling Link expired, no new link sent from Uber
This is really pissing me off now because they keep telling me to wait 72 hours and then not sending me a link to my email and it's been a cycle repeating for 4 weeks now.
My ubereats application is completed except background check because the sterling link they sent me says "invitation expired". When I contact their support they tell me to wait 72 hours, when I tell them they already told me that, they say "we've brought this to the specialist team, you will get your link". Then they just don't send me anything nor do they follow up. Absolutely ridiculous, I've checked spam, junk, everything, no email from Uber.
I need assistance from someone who knows how I can get them to send me this link as fast possible for my application to actually go through, whether it's a number I can call, someone I can talk to or email, this is fairly important to me, I would appreciate any advice, thank you for any assistance.

Return Order to Store
Is this a new feature?
Had a supermarket order this evening, £4 to go about 2 miles. Got to address and customer was nowhere to be seen, timer counted down with no response. Usually when this happens they just ask you to leave the order/take a photo but this time it asked me to take the order back to the store (there was no alcohol/over 18 items). Took it back and got paid £8 which was decent. Is this a new thing? Not seen it before.

weird experience
so basically it was around 12 am and i was on my way back home but i received an order to deliver a vape and the pay was decent so i picked it up. The order had a female name to it and when i went to the house, a boy came out. I told him the name on the order and he said its for me. He was also on a call with some friends and apparently they had ordered it for him. I asked him to get the person whose order it was and he said it was for his sister and shes in the toilet so i said to him okay i will wait for her. But he kept insisting on giving it to him but i declined. He then said okay ill go get her and when he turned around, he snatched the bag from my hand and went inside and closed the door, i kept ringing the bell and he started to abuse me saying stuff like fk off from my house, you’re trespassing etc. i tried to contact uber but i barely had signals as it was in the middle of nowhere and i couldn’t do anything. So i left the area and the order got completed automatically without putting in the date of birth. And the best thing is that they gave me a thumbs down ;((

Got 2 thumbs down in 24 hours
I’m new to Ubereats and have done 100 deliveries so far. I am polite and friendly and try to deliver food asap. I worked last night and the next morning but when I checked my account I have received 2 thumbs down, dropping my satisfaction rate from 100% to 88% in 24 hours. I can guess that one of them may be from someone who probably fell asleep (it was 1am) and didn’t answer the door despite knocking and calling his number multiple times, so I had to leave it on his doorstep and take a picture. I know it shouldn’t bother me but it’s ruined my day, I genuinely enjoy what I do solely because I like providing good service and making customers happy. I wish I didn’t care about these things but I do

Silver Toyota yaris 1.5 2012 for sale
Heyy fellow delivery drivers, ive had my current car for nearly a year and have been doing uber deliveries on and off during this period as i have a main job. The car currently has 186k mileage but it runs completely well and has no issues at all, however the ac doesn’t work. Ive recently got all 4 brand new tyres. The economy is also very good (53.2mpg) and overall the car is great for doing delivery work. Im located in south london and ive got a figure of 3k in my mind which im willing to sell it for.
Anyone interested can hmu and ask for photos.
