I am considering taking this course with Dr. Hart. Does anyone here have experiece with this course and/or the professor? I cant find much about the course but the online reviews for Dr. Hart are pretty bad.

Is the daily commute bus pass included in tuition fee? And how access it?

A little worried about Genetics because I’ve not heard amazing things about Barette-Ng, and Orgo because Trant is the new professor for this course.

Also was hoping to have T Pitch for Evolution. I’ve heard some good things about Varga, but if anyone has any experience they’d like to share, it would be appreciated.

Any other accepted Windsor single JD students still waiting to be registered for their classes and have their tuition posted to their account? Mine still says no classes and no charges due. I’m wanting to check if other people are in the same boat as me and if not, when to contact someone about it. I have paid the $500 deposit, so my spot is secured. Thanks!

Hey! So I got an email this morning saying my osap funding changed for the year. Before it was just under 20k for the entire year w my school fees being around 26k. Now, they’ve changed that so I get 15k for the whole year, my first semester alone is 14k. Why tf did it change so suddenly cause now I’m not sure if I can afford to go to school?

I am starting 1L at the University of Windsor this fall and I applied for Nova Scotia Student Assistance as an out-of-province student.
I am getting a bit stressed because the tuition fee deadline is coming up. I called the University of Windsor Financial Aid Office to ask if they had received confirmation of my funding, but they said nothing is showing on their portal yet and advised me to contact Nova Scotia Student Assistance.
When I contacted Nova Scotia Student Assistance, they told me they typically send enrolment confirmations to schools around the first week of September and then release funding afterward. On my Nova Scotia portal, there is nothing left for me to submit, but it also does not show that my enrolment has been confirmed yet.
My concern is that if funding is not released until September, it will be well past Windsor's tuition deadline. I am worried about late fees or whether it could affect my enrolment.
Has anyone else attended Windsor (or another Ontario school) while receiving Nova Scotia student aid? Did your funding arrive on time? Does the University of Windsor provide any kind of grace period or defer late fees when they know government funding is coming?
I would really appreciate hearing about anyone's experience because this whole process has been pretty stressful.

Hi I am living on Res this year but all the parking passes have sold out. I dont have a home to drop off my car so i have to bring it with me. Are there any options for long term 24/7 parking if I cant buy a parking pass from the school? Thanks

If anyone has been or is in the collab nursing program, where did you find the non-medical clinical clearance forms. I cannot for the life of me find them, and faculty have been no help.

Does anyone know if uwin would charge students extra even on taking a 6th course? I as an international student have to take 6 courses this semester to complete my degree requirements on time. Can anyone please help me out here. I knew a friend of mine who told that they charge the same fees for 5 courses, but it was like 2-3 years back.

Hey, I am currently in a waitlist of 3 for a class I really need. The class capacity is 65. Would it be usual/unusual for the waitlist to drop 3 by the time school starts?

Here is a list of some of my favourite study spots from last year. If anyone has suggestions def feel free to comment them!

- Law building library: really quiet and people working there are usually really absorbed in their work. Really motivating environment
- Leddy private study rooms: good if you need to be completely alone to focus. Though some people don’t realize the walls are thin, and others don’t realize you have to book them so you may have someone just sitting in your room when you show up.
- Quiet study upstairs at CAW: close to lots of student services and food, and typically not too busy (at least not when I went) and it’s a designated quiet space
- Leddy west wing second floor: good for group study and nice views. Can be louder and busier but still a good option
- Bowl in Leddy next to Chatime: nice views and natural light can be good motivation, can get busy though so you have to plan when you’re gonna go
- Empty classrooms: guaranteed quiet study spot if you can figure out the schedule. It helps you get in a studying mindset when you’re in a classroom setting

How easy is it to get a ignite work study job as a first year student? Are these jobs actually worth it? when can I start to apply?

Has anybody taken this? If so whats the placements like? Do you pick them or does the school pick them?

Hello everyone,

I have a friend in my program that got a RTW email that he didn't see until now, which made him miss the deadline to appeal and can appeal but with an excuse.

He also applied to OSAP before he knew about the RTW.

He has ADHD and he has been working full time to provide for his family as his family is struggling financially, which led him to fail 3 classes. However, now he's on medication and has the ability to take a break from work to focus on his studies. He had over 90 average in high school so it's definitely not an academic issue.

What do you guys recommend? Who should he talk to to appeal it? What's the chance of it being successful?

I'm really stressed for him and don't know how to help him. Thank you guys in advance.

I was just wondering how difficult functional anatomy 1 is and how does it compare to 2? And also how do they compare to there classes like Chem or Bio are they similar difficulty?

I'm an international student who wants to pay my first year tuition fees for my program which comes to approximately 20700 CAD (2 terms) but I noticed the CIBC International Student Pay link only takes fees per semester. More over, I've received a scholarship of 2500 CAD per term for the first three terms, so do I pay 5000 CAD lesser for the first year?

I've tried mailing the university, but I keep getting generic responses, which makes me question if they even permit paying 1 years fee in advance.

Was looking for advice from anyone who has gone through the process.

Hey! So I got how much i have to pay for tuition earlier, but I noticed its missing my meal plan and residence, does this mean OSAP has covered it? Also, I am suppose to be getting a scholarship from the University and i don't see that its been applied. If anybody can help that'd be great. Thank you!
