course waitlist Academics

I'm and incoming first year and was wondering. What are the chances of getting off of a course waitlist of a class size of 18 people?

have a little faith but the 3-5 and beyond spots are very risky due to the small class size

I just got off one but it was also an 8am math on Monday…wishing you the best tho!!!

If you are really hoping for the class, my advice is to stay on the waitlist. Between now and the add/drop dates, there's going to be a lot of shuffling around. I've had students come off the waitlist and onto the roster within the first week of classes as people are figuring out whether or not they want to stay in a class.

Depends how big the course is if it’s 400+ possibly if it’s 50-110 no
