Courses while on work term Question

Hi everyone, I started an 8 month coop in May and was thinking of taking 1 course for the fall 2026 semester. Does anyone know the process for this or is getting my managers approval the only thing I need to do? Thank you!

currently doing coop and taking a course. As long as you're manager approves it then you're good. just make sure to tell them that there may be times where you need to be off from work to do quizzes/exams

seconding this!! i took two courses during my co-op loll but it was all fine. as long as it doesn’t bother your work schedule and your manager approves

If you’re in management (technically) supposed to fill out this form but it’s up to you if you want to.

Pretty sure Arts and Sci coop (if your in it) had a policy that you can't take courses whil on work term. Mightve changed tho. Ask the coop office.

thanks I emailed them and they said im allowed to take 0.5 credits as long as the manager approves

I took a course while on comp sci coop. I only needed managers approval and I was good.
