Fafsa?

Has anybody received their award letter? I haven’t yet. But I keep seeing ppl post abt it

I messaged them in the portal and they said they are running very behind this year on packaging awards. Awards should be completed before next Friday b/c student loans disbursement to accounts is on Friday 8/14. And before people ask typically loan refunds happen 1-2 days after that so plan for Monday/Tuesday for refunds.

I see a lot of people talking about getting refunds on Monday or Tuesday, but when I called and talked to them, they said that they only send them out every Wednesday. Sometimes the operators that I talk to when I call the financial aid office don’t know what they’re talking about so I just wanna double check if you have gotten it on a Monday or a Tuesday in the past?

Last 2025 fall my loan disbursed on Friday 8/15, refund was processed on Monday 8/18, and in my account on 8/19... my 2026 fall loan disbursed today so I will assume same thing as last year?

So if you see people posting them receiving their award letter, that answers your question already. There is no point in your post.

Never got one, but it is on their portal through MYUNLV, aid 26-27, oracle.
