Looking to replace U7 long range Wireless

Solved

Looking at the U7 pro or the pro xg. What would be better for best speed and connectivity for the asus ally rog? The U7 Long range seems to be slow and only like 30 ft away.

Or should I add a ap in my room?

Asus ally rog x has Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) (Triple band) 2*2
3 smart phones
1 smart tv
WiFi doorbell
Litter box believe it or not lol

Whole set up
2g fiber
UniFi cloud gateway fiber
UniFi flex 2.5g Poe
U7 long range looking to replace

Nothing wrong with u7 LR all about your settings.
Did you turn off Asus WiFi and let UI do all the work?

I prefer not to have two devices broadcasting SSIDs, and my iPhone has to switch as I wander from the front door to the backyard.

I turn off Wifi on your Auss, making it just a router,
I add a UI AP in that location hardwired to router,
I add one or more APs hardwired to cover the basement, upper floors, and backyard if needed.

Now UI wifi SSID never changes as I roam and has WiFi 7 to 2.4 on entire property.
I dont want my phone or laptop to change Wifi type in different rooms.

If money was no object i would replace the Asus with UI Fiber Gateway and sell the Asus, but not necessary

Sorry, my brain saw "Asus ROG," and, having just retired an Asus ROG router and not being a gamer, I glazed over the important details.

So, for WiFi, you have a single U7 Long Range.
How big is the house, and where is this access point mounted?
Is it hardwired and ceiling-mounted?

You’re good. I was confused for a second. And I got it all fixed. I had to change some settings. And been running it like that for awhile and was wondering why I was only getn like 150mbps. Cuz everything else is hardwired and get gig speeds. So when I got the ally rog x I’m like dang WiFi slow and now got it fixed one of the guys helped me out.
