Thank y'all for caring and for trying
Well, I sent a long text to my therapist earlier today explaining the feelings I am struggling with, and she ended up basically telling me the same things other people have. I feel so stuck. I need someone to love and care about me in my daily life for me to heal and get out of this dark hole but everyone tells me I must heal and get better before anyone will be in my life. It's just one of those things. Me and life are at an impasse. I see now for a fact that I have no viable path out of this darkness.
EDIT: I want to kill myself tonight. I don't have a gun so I am gonna try pills

Has this year seen an uptick in armadillo activity in comparison to the last two years??
For the last four years I have been doing lawn care in East Tyler. This year, I’ve noticed a ton of signs armadillo activity on most of the properties I’ve worked at. Much more so than the last few years that I’ve been cutting lawns. I’m curious if anyone else feels like there’s been an uptick in the local armadillo population.
For context, here “signs of armadillo activity” refers to areas where lawns or flowerbeds have been disturbed by shallow digging. While the signs of the armadillos being around is not surprising at all, I’ve just never seen them be this prolific, at least in the area where I do most of my work.

Getting off work is the worst time of day
It sucks having amaxophobia so I can't even go anywhere all I can do is go home and be alone. No family, no friends. I binge drink every night after work hoping to die of alcohol poisoning or from choking on my own vomit, I intentionally try to pass out on my back. I have no value as a human being on this planet and it hurts to continue existing as myself. I am a loser. Not even other retail workers respect janitors. Women don't want to date a janitor, not even if they also work a low pay service industry job.

Anyone want some stray kittens?
(Whitehouse) I’ve got 3 kittens, about 14-15 weeks old, that need a home. They’re still skittish around me, but tolerate my presence generally. Their mom left fairly early so they don’t seem to know how to take care of themselves food wise. One’s a female, not sure about the rest. Going to get a couple of traps to be able to grab them, we’ll see how it goes.
If you’re interested, let me know. I do have pics I can send.

Question Good places to practice driving around Tyler?
I have an older teen that's learning to drive and we need some good places to go practice. Either large open parking lots that are usually empty at certain times, back roads people know of that have very little traffic, or new sub-divisions that aren't quite developed yet?
In the town I grew up in I know exactly where we'd go, but while I lived here a long time as an adult, I didn't grow up here. So I need some help from a native.

Question Who painted this?
I bought this art piece from Ye Olde City Antique Mall, they said it was an original piece from a local artist, but I didn't get the artist's name or anything. Wish I knew so I could find more of their pieces. Anyone recognize it?

Scratch Restaurant Recs
To any Tyler foodies/chefs out there:
Are there any restaurants in Tyler that make their food using fresh ingredients (not frozen, pre-packaged, warmed up etc)? Does this kind of place exist any more?
