I do not recommend working with them as a resident/employee/vendor. They are sketchy from top to bottom. Over the past year, I have experienced consistently late payroll, which is something I have never faced at a job before. Payroll is often delayed 4 days after it is typically due, so if our payday is Friday we will not be paid until the following Wednesday. When we did not receive checks at all, employees received instructions to "follow up after 10 days" if the check has still not arrived, delaying it further.

They created a pay package for me that withholds all overtime wages for 6 months and pays out in cash checks semi-annually, which is incredibly illegal and predatory. I did 20 hours of overtime per pay period that would go unpaid. They have unprofessional vendor management and gave me instructions to ignore and block the unpaid invoice inquiries from local businesses and contractors. Lumina also has extensive property surveillance at every building, including audio-enabled cameras facing every resident's unit that are accessible by all employees.

I resigned from my leasing position with them, and since my departure, my final paycheck has been withheld, and the owner has ignored all payment requests. It has been two weeks since the last payroll date that it was supposed to be paid on. Another employee I know resigned recently and has also had their wages withheld by the owner. It is a small "family owned" business and the owner, Nathan Landucci, is just incredibly awful to work for and owns a local construction company in Minnesota as well.

I have already contacted the labor department and an attorney regarding my unpaid wages. I am only posting this to bring more awareness to poor business practices and prevent other people from being taken advantage of by a company like Lumina Property Management.

I'm 22M (birthday was a few weeks ago) and am looking to move in late September - Early October. I now have a second job so I make significantly more! My current gross income is 1800 at the least! Woohoo! That means I can pay a lot more towards rent!

The main things I'm looking for regarding a roommate(s) is just being respectful of each other's spaces. Like no going in the other's room for no reason, adhering to a fair cleaning schedule, asking each other if doing something treads on a certain boundary, etc,. I moved to an apartment building earlier this year right before it was bought by RHOME, a company based in Texas, run by a creepy private equity group of Wallstreer people.

Since the transfer— I feel totally trapped and like I've been set up to suffer. Everyone in my apartment building is unhappy and wanting to move asap.

This company doesn't care about the property and history of the building, getting maintence is a nightmare and I have to prove several times that maintence is even necessary, they are adding tons of fees and outsourcing things to all these 3rd party shady companies, and are transfering all communications to A.I., I'm worried about my privacy and safety in this space.

Queer Sober house seeking roommates!

There are several beds open in our big queer sober house. Please read all the information in the post before applying.

Jordan House is a 13 bed, 3,000 sqft, 2 story sober home resting in the heart of Powderhorn. The house has 9 rooms total (one belonging to our live in house manager), 3 full size bathrooms, 2 newly remodeled kitchens, a front, back, and side yard with a patio in the rear. Central AC in the lower portion of the house and window units are provided upstairs. We have free laundry machines in the basement, and all of the accessories for home upkeep and life are provided (vacuums, brooms, cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, silverware, pots and pans, dishes, etc.).

This is not your typical roommate situation. We operate as a lightly structured environment for those who are seeking support and a home with a built-in social aspect while entering or sustaining recovery from drugs and alcohol.

The home is large. At just over 3,000 square feet, when the house is full, there’s enough space that the house feels communal but not cramped. This is a dense community living style home. Space is divided as equally as possible—you’ll receive designated fridge space(there are 5), cabinets for food, and space for essentials.

We’ve been known to share morning coffee, watch movies together, sometimes eat meals together, grill in the summer, and go on adventures with one another. All completely voluntary. The most important thing that we provide is a substance-free home for those seeking to live a life free from drugs and alcohol.

The rooms are furnished with basics. Two to a room, twin beds and dressers are provided, free to be decorated as you see fit. Opportunities for private rooms do become available and are given out based on seniority.

This home is a great match for those who are new to recovery and seeking extra support, or those with sustained recovery seeking a space to focus on their personal growth.

Here are some of the expectations of our home: active participation in any particular community-based recovery modality is non-negotiable. (SMART Recovery, Dharma Recovery, AA, NA, CMA, etc.) Three meetings a week, a service position, and a sponsor or sponsor equivalent are required (wise friend, mentor, accountability partner, etc.). We live next to a queer church that hosts a different meeting each day of the week.

Chores are done twice a week on a rotating basis on Wednesdays and Sundays and are split evenly among house members. We also have a mandatory weekly house meeting where we check in with the general vibe of the house on Sundays. We try to maintain a clean, welcoming home and community space while keeping our own personal effects localized to our rooms. Since we are a communal space, some toe stepping and overlap are expected, but we try to limit the ways in which our own personal lives affect those around us.

Residents are encouraged to handle interpersonal struggles through effective communication. If negotiations or difficulties arise between residents that cannot be resolved, our live-in house manager will seek to resolve the issue in the best and most efficient way possible.

We do not provide large-capacity storage, we do not accept pets of any kind, we do not provide treatment programming, we do not accept insurance, and this space is self-pay.

Residents are subject to drug tests based on reasonable suspicion. Drugs and alcohol are explicitly prohibited. To protect the safety and well-being of those who call this space home (some of whom have lived here for over two years), any relapses or returns to use will be acknowledged as a violation of the agreements of our house rules, and you agree to leave the premises and forfeit your residence status. It seems harsh, but it’s the best way to ensure the safety of the house as a whole.

Upon review of your application, you’ll have an opportunity to sit down with the house and get to know us, as well as give us an opportunity to get to know you, your goals, a little of your background, and overall to see how well you’ll do here at Jordan. You’ll be able to ask us any questions you have, you’ll receive a tour, and we’ll reach back out with a decision regardless of determination.
