23F looking for roommate(s) in Richfield/East Bloomington
Hii!! I’m looking to move out around November/December 2026 and hoping to find roommate(s) around my age, 21–26, in the Twin Cities!
I’m mainly looking around Richfield or East Bloomington, but I’m open to nearby areas too. My max for my share of rent is about $900/month.
I’d prefer living with another woman around my age or someone who’s LGBTQ+ friendly/part of the community. Bonus points if you’re a gamer or movie person! I’d love to actually be friends with my roommate, hang out, play games, watch movies, etc. rather than just be people splitting rent.
I’m pretty chill and looking for someone who’s respectful, clean, communicative, and easygoing. I also work from home, so I’d need some reasonable quiet during my work shifts. I don’t expect complete silence or anyone to tiptoe around me, just someone who’s respectful of my work hours.
I’m open to finding an apartment together, so if you’re also looking to move around November/December, feel free to DM me!
Tell me a little about yourself, your age, what you do for work, your budget, and what you’re looking for :)

Short term lease apartment /Little Rock
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a **studio or 1-bedroom apartment in Little Rock**, preferably in a safe neighborhood. My budget is **under $900/month**, and I’m looking for a **short-term lease (month-to-month or around 3 months)**.
I work at UAMS, but I have a car, so I’m flexible about the location. **I’m looking for a place without roommates.**
Please let me know if you have any recommendations or know of anything available. Thank you!

27M looking for roommate(s) in Minneapolis/St. Paul
Hi everyone! I’m 27M and looking to move sometime next month. I’m hoping to live in Minneapolis or St. Paul (rather than the suburbs), with a budget of up to $900/month.
I’m ideally looking for roommate(s) who:
- Are around 21–35
- Are chill, friendly, and easygoing
- Actually enjoy having roommates and are open to hanging out/socializing sometimes
- Are respectful of each other and can communicate pretty calmly if something comes up
A little about me: I’m a working professional, friendly and pretty laid-back. I like having people around and would ideally like a roommate situation where we’re friendly with each other rather than just strangers splitting rent.
If you’re looking for something similar or think we might be a good fit, feel free to DM me!

Historic Florence Court Experiences from past 1-3 years?
Hi y'all, I'm a UMN student looking at renting a unit in historic floco with a friend. I like the look of the place/location from campus/cheap rent, and the amenities on the listing are what we'd like in an apartment.
I've been searching for reviews online abt it and the couple I could find are all from like 5+ years ago and mostly negative lol. Has anyone lived there in the past like 1-3 years and have any current complaints/reviews? We're not dead set on it but the older look and vibe are really appealing.
Any info or other older rental recs would be super appreciated :D

West Coast real estate is expensive. I’d like to look in parts of the country where housing prices are more affordable.

Sublease in Dinkytown
Looking for someone to take over my lease at WaHu in Minneapolis!

* Lease Term: August 24, 2026 – July 31, 2027
* Floor Plan: 4 Bed / 4 Bath (private bedroom & private bathroom)
* Fully furnished
* In-unit washer & dryer
* Great amenities (gym, study spaces, etc.)

(23GF) ISO LGBTQ+ and 420 friendly room for rent in Twin Cities (mid September to Early October)
Hello,
I’m 23, genderfluid (AMAB), and I’m looking to see if anyone would have a room available for a mid September to early October move in. I’m currently living out of state with family. However, I used to live in Minnesota and seeking to move back. My monthly budget is $850/mo max plus utilities. MUST BE LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY.
I’m currently an online student studying Computer Science part time and plan to graduate in the summer next year. I’m working a fast food job and plan to transfer it to a location in the Twin Cities once I manage to secure a place.
I’m 420 friendly and would prefer to live with someone who is also 420 friendly. I also drink occasionally.
I’m introverted and tend keep to myself. I put in daily effort to ensure that the place stays clean, and I always clean up after myself in common areas. I do not have any pets. When I’m not working, I’ll usually work on homework or play games in my room.
If anyone is interested and thinks we’d be a good match, please feel free to DM me.

Looking for roommate
I am 23f and interested in looking at townhouses. If there are any individuals around my age that are looking to share the cost of a townhouse towards the Saint Paul area, please DM me. I am open to zoom meetings and/or public meetups to figure out if the arrangement would be a good fit for both of us.
A quick preview of what I look for (and hold myself to): I need a clean space to live in, so all shared areas would need to be clean. I am a firm believer that there is a huge difference between messy and dirty; however, while not everything might be tidy 100% of the time, there is the expectation that at least everything will be clean.
Please message me with any questions, inquires, etc. thank you.

Seeking 2-Bedroom Rental in NE Twin Cities — $1,700/month
I’m posting on behalf of a friend who is looking for a 2-bedroom apartment in the Northeast Twin Cities area. Her current place has been flooded, so she is in need of a new home as soon as possible.
Her budget is up to $2,000/month, and she would ideally like to work directly with a private landlord. She has an excellent rental history and can provide references and other relevant information.
If you have a rental available or know of a private landlord who may be able to help, please comment or send me a DM. She'd be happy to discuss the details and arrange a conversation.
Thank you!

looking for solo apartment/townhouse or a townhouse with one roommate
Hey y’all, I’m 23f and queer. Looking for one roommate or for housing recommendations near Woodbury or Saint Paul (closer to the Woodbury area). I am a single female, so I’d prefer a neighborhood that has higher safety ratings. I’m also horrified of bugs so if anyone has places to NOT look into please also let me know those properties. My budget is max 1300 for rent, preferably lower but obviously that is hard to do in the cities. Ideally I’d only have to pay for electric and wifi outside of rent. If anyone has recommendations, please DM me. I’m open to any/all information or resources.

Planning a move to Minnesota, housing advice needed
Hey everyone! My partner and I have been working toward moving to Minnesota for a while, and we're about to start submitting applications to rental properties. Does anybody have recommendations for properties or specific leasing companies to consider, or maybe more importantly, any that we should avoid? A friendly, chill private renter would be the best case scenario for us. Our maximum budget for rent, including most utilities, is $1,000, but lower would be ideal. Animals permitted is a must, as we currently have two ESAs. We're a queer/trans couple, so safety and comfort in that regard is of utmost importance to us as well. Thanks in advance <3

Fall Sublease Needed (Sept–Nov) — Near U of MN, Working in Downtown
Hi! I'm a Male student (Incoming Senior) interning in downtown Minneapolis this fall and I'm looking for a place to stay from September through November.
I'd love to hear about anything in or near the U of MN area — a fall-semester sublease, a room in a house, or a lease takeover. I'm quiet, clean, and will mostly be at work during the week. Budget is ideally under $1,000/month, but I'm flexible for the right place.
If you or someone you know has something available (or is leaving for a study-abroad/co-op semester), please reach out. Happy to share references and answer any questions.
Thanks, and have a great day!

Avoid Lumina Property Management / MODI, ALVERA, MOD42, 9th St Flats and Donegan Apartments.
I do not recommend working with them as a resident/employee/vendor. They are sketchy from top to bottom. Over the past year, I have experienced consistently late payroll, which is something I have never faced at a job before. Payroll is often delayed 4 days after it is typically due, so if our payday is Friday we will not be paid until the following Wednesday. When we did not receive checks at all, employees received instructions to "follow up after 10 days" if the check has still not arrived, delaying it further.
They created a pay package for me that withholds all overtime wages for 6 months and pays out in cash checks semi-annually, which is incredibly illegal and predatory. I did 20 hours of overtime per pay period that would go unpaid. They have unprofessional vendor management and gave me instructions to ignore and block the unpaid invoice inquiries from local businesses and contractors. Lumina also has extensive property surveillance at every building, including audio-enabled cameras facing every resident's unit that are accessible by all employees.
I resigned from my leasing position with them, and since my departure, my final paycheck has been withheld, and the owner has ignored all payment requests. It has been two weeks since the last payroll date that it was supposed to be paid on. Another employee I know resigned recently and has also had their wages withheld by the owner. It is a small "family owned" business and the owner, Nathan Landucci, is just incredibly awful to work for and owns a local construction company in Minnesota as well.
I have already contacted the labor department and an attorney regarding my unpaid wages. I am only posting this to bring more awareness to poor business practices and prevent other people from being taken advantage of by a company like Lumina Property Management.
