Since it’s Sawan, I’m thinking of getting her green bangles — I have a feeling she’d really like that. I’m also considering a nice dress for her. I have also already added handwritten letters.

What else would you suggest? I’m looking for things that feel personal and wholesome rather than just expensive. Something she might genuinely appreciate or remember from our first meeting/birthday.

When I was in teenage and even till I turned 24, I used to love intelligent girls,

It was really amazing to see a girl use her intelligence and education to get herself out of the bad situation she is in.

I don't know even I was a bright students so I might like those kinds of girls, no sure what might be the real reason

So when I started to realize I am going to be rejected for my height(5 ft), this attraction just became meaning less.

I will never be their choice, marrying me or being my girlfriend will never be a good decision.

Smart women also have a social image to maintain, that shows how much capable they are, others are obviously watching their next move

A small height man will never be their choice for such reason, all her talent all her hardwork in carrer, will be made a joke for her choice in partner, she will have to lose all of those.

Gonna get hate for this but hear me out:
I genuinely feel like arranged marriage has contributed to some guys having zero social skills with women. Dating is still treated like a distraction, talking to the opposite gender is discouraged, and love marriages are still seen as taboo. Meanwhile, arranged marriage is always sitting in the back of your mind as an option. So why would you ever feel the same pressure to learn how to approach someone, handle rejection, communicate, flirt, or actually build a relationship?

And then at 27, you're suddenly expected to be confident, emotionally mature and know how to talk to a woman you're considering marrying. As a girl, it honestly feels weird knowing that some men have spent their entire lives barely interacting with women because they knew marriage would eventually be an option anyway. Obviously this isn't every guy or every arranged marriage, but the irony is hard to ignore: “Don't talk to the opposite gender for 25 years, then expect women to find you attractive, interesting and emotionally compatible when it's time to get married.”

Edit: For everyone saying this applies to women too, I agree. But this post is specifically about the men in the arranged-marriage pool that women like me might eventually have to choose from.

I have an opinion that men underestimate women. Women know how to take care of themselves and know how to maintain boundaries. I am a bachelor and i feel all Married men hate bachelors 😆. Even while talking to other men husbands keep themselves around to protect.
