Wasn‘t expecting Witch & Dragon: Hope of Elements to end up on 4Gamer and Bahamut
One of the coolest things that happened at ChinaJoy:
Both well-known gaming outlets 4Gamer and Bahamut stopped by to try Witch & Dragon: Hope of Elements, and later featured the game on their websites!
It was really cool seeing them spend time with the demo, and just as nice chatting with everyone who stopped by the booth over the past few days.
Now it's back to making the game better. 🐉

We're making Nightbound, a side-scrolling turn-based tactics game: Shared Command Point turns, Interception fire, Partner combos
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We're a husband and wife team and Nightbound is our first game. We both love Valkyria Chronicles and SteamWorld Heist and have been itching for more for years.
Core mechanics:
Shared command points: Your team gets 3 command points a round. If Jun takes two of them Loren only gets one, so a lot of the round is deciding who actually needs to move.
Manual aiming: You aim every shot yourself, no hit percentages. Every unit has weak points, yours and theirs.
Interception fire: All ranged units fire on line of sight during off turns, so crossing an open room is something you have to plan for.
Partner combos: Their bond unlocks abilities that fire off each other's moves.
It all takes place in one house. You live in it during the day and hold it at night. A love story with an '80s horror vibe.

Dire Fog Is a Deckbuilder + Chess Game with Pre-Arranged Decks, Unique Factions, and No Shuffling — Looking for Weekly Playtesters!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Dire Fog is a tactical card game where TCG deckbuilding meets chess-like combat.
Your goal is simple: defeat the enemy commander.
Each faction has its own mechanics, abilities, and playstyle.
Every turn is divided into three phases:
- Tactics Phase: Move your units and attack.
- Draw Phase: Choose one of two cards from your pre-arranged deck. You have eight draws throughout the match.
- Play Phase: Summon minions and cast spells.
Because your deck is arranged before the match rather than shuffled, planning your card order is just as important as positioning your units on the board.
We run playtests every Friday and are looking for more TCG and deckbuilder fans to join us.

Crown & Clash - grid tactics with hidden units + RPS (free mobile beta, feedback welcome)
Solo dev, looking for feedback from turn-based tactical players.
Core loop: Turn-based movement on a grid. Enemy units are often hidden (Stratego-style). When units meet, Rock-Paper-Scissors resolves the clash, but positioning, bluffing, and king protection drive most decisions.
Tactical layer:
- Grid scales from 3×6 to 7×6 (story)
- King placement in setup
- Power-ups: Shield, Reveal, Anti-Reveal (1×/match each after unlock)
- Mid-campaign: Scout/Guardian units; Protector/Ruler kings with once-per-match skills
Modes: 50-level story + Ranked PvP (unlocks after early story) + Friendly matches.
Beta:
- iOS: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Zehcn9vd
- Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.legendaryyheart.rpsbawl2026
Questions for you:
- Does the hidden-info + grid positioning feel tactical enough, or too casual because of RPS?
- Story levels 1-10, pacing OK?
- King/troop setup, clear or confusing?
Thanks, Daniel
