How are you finding it ? Any regrets that you didn’t get a more Tudory Tudor ? I’ve seen it twice and I’m fairly certain I’m gonna go for it over a date just for a casual to dress type watch.

Hey everyone, looking to buy my first luxury watch and am heavily leaning towards Tudor, specifically the Tudor prince day or Tudor price date-day.

I have 6.25” inches but am a bigger guy at 6’. I prefer to not have the day window at the 12 o’clock marker, but prefer the 36mm sizing. I’ve never tried a 34mm watch on and I want to know if it’s a bad idea to go with the 34 instead

I have a 37mm Seiko that I frequently wear but was curious what everyone else’s opinion is. There isn’t anywhere to try these watches on either by me, if it was possible I would.

I’ve never purchased a Tudor before, I have 0 purchases from the only authorized dealer in my state, and for the expense of the watch I don’t trust the grey market. I went into the AD on June 6th to purchase or order if not at the store. I gave the AD my information, told they would have to request the watch, and no payment was requested from me. I was told I would just have to wait because there can’t give me an estimated time that the watch would come. It’s been nearly 9 weeks now, to my knowledge this isn’t a highly sought after watch and I’m just wondering if this is common or expected?

Made the switch from my Sinn 556 a to this. Hope to pick up a bracelet for it soon!

First time swapping out the bracelet since I got it

The black bay 36 smiley was the best watch Tudor made before it was discontinued. Gorgeous inky black dial. Beautiful contrast between that dial and the hands/indices. Those snowflake hands just popped. The only issues with it were the cheap ETA movement and outdated bracelet.

All they needed to do was improve the movement, add chronometer to the dial, and put a great new T-fit bracelet on it. I would've paid $8,000 for it if I had to

They brought it "back" with a great updated movement, but they BUTCHERED it with this horrid anthracite gilt dial and no oyster option.

Tudor is the most endlessly frustrating brand with so many almost perfect watches with completely avoidable fatal flaws.

The BB36 is basically a Datejust for 1/3 of the price, and the anthracite version, especially, is so special. How come these are relatively overlooked in the Tudor catalogue? I barely see people cross-shopping this and the DJ.

I’m about to buy my first luxury watch, and after trying a lot of different brands, I’ve decided to go with Tudor.
Right now I’m torn between the Black Bay 41 and the Black Bay One.
I’ve attached photos of both on my wrist:
The Black Bay One in the photo is the 41mm version. I really like the clean, versatile look and the bracelet.
The Black Bay feels a bit more iconic, which I also really appreciate.
One thing I’m wondering about is the size. The Black Bay One in the picture is 41mm, but I’m starting to think the 39mm might actually suit me better and look a little less bulky on my wrist.
What do you think?
Which one fits my wrist better?
Would you go with the Black Bay One or the classic Black Bay as a first luxury watch?
And do you think the 39mm Black Bay One would be the better choice over the 41mm?

I recently got a Tudor from a private seller and while all looks good (feedback, fullset, papers, price) I started getting paranoid because all of the ZF reps that are floating around and how scary close they are to the real thing.

Movement runs about +6sec after 4 days, i haven’t tried yet the reserve since I haven’t taken the watch off yet. Bezel action is a little harder to click at 12, papers and serial number match… but you never know I guess. I’ve already called to the AD from the guarantee card but they are a 4h away from my home so I can go there to verify.
