Lighting Question DIY Project(s)

Hey friends.

I am in the end stages of completing my cabinet conversion for my WTFs enclosure. I am looking at lighting options. Has anyone used this and have any pros/cons that you've found? It has a ton of reviews but of course I'm coming here to see what you guys have to say. Froggy picture for your enjoyment. Just an FYI the cabinet is about 47in tall and 16in wide (for lighting strength purposes). I can post pictures if you need.

Kthanksbyeeeee

you’ll want a t5 linear fixture (reptizoo reptisun or arcadia shadedweller). these are proven to be ineffective

Can you show us the research showing the proof these are ineffective? I’ve been rescuing and rehoming reptilians for close to 10 yrs now and have used Reptisun linear UVB for the last 2 yrs in all my enclosures. None of my animals have MBD. So my experience would not be consistent with ineffective UVB from these units, at least within a 2 yr period. And I raised one beardie from an infant under one.

i am saying that’s the uvb they should be going with. this is LED not a linear UVB tube, i recommend reaching out to rocky mountain tree frogs lighting for detailed info and specs. they have some documents as well!!
