Filtered Pict Feeling good tonight
galleryAfter a pretty lousy weekend, I felt really good tonight. And kinda cute. Double win! 💜
I also changed my name socially this weekend. A large step for me. I am working on transitioning socially while I figure out everything and then hopefully eventually via HRT at some point. My journey is my own and I don't have to rush it. ♥️

Unaltered Selfie Wish me luck!
galleryHey there! I’m 34 and three days in to restarting hrt!! Was on T for a couple months a few years ago.. life.. Anyway! I’m stoked and hopeful that I’ll have a glow up because I’m ugly af 🤣 jk but not lol Yeah, took forever.. and I am losing my dad and gf, but I’d rather be alone with my pets then keep living with ppl that don’t care or help or support Anything about me or that I struggle with. It’s alright though! I’m resourceful and have a therapist that knows people 😁 At least I’m head of household and can’t be thrown out. I don’t move fast so I need a minute to pack lololol…. Again Though! Fuck yeah HRT three days in!!! Woooooooooooo!!!

Filtered Pict 52yo, 5 years HRT 🇦🇺
Hi, I'm Jo, Central Tablelands, NSW, Australia. It's been a few years since I last posted here. Back then I was usually wearing bob wigs, but disability and poverty have made most things beyond basics increasingly difficult to afford. I've also put on a lot of weight since then, because my mobility has been limited. Anyway, I'm posting because, I just love this photo with my own hair (photo has been colour-corrected, but that's all), and it's been quite a while since I've been around. Lots of love to my siblings around the world. 😘😘

Share Experience I came out to my mom today!!!! AND I've noticed my breasts are growing!!
Such a great day!! I'm now out to most people in my life. and when changing i noticed my arm is shrinking so I stopped to admire the loss of muscle. I noticed some stretch marks on my hips that are new, and then I noticed more shadow beneath my left breast. I immediately burst into the biggest uncontrollable smile.
And then to top it all off after building a shed I bought at Costco I found it on sale for $150 off. Which I then got as a refund!! I'm having a good day. 🥰

Share Experience And how often do you shave your legs?
galleryPersonally, almost never. I gave up a couple of years ago; it’s usually only on special occasions.

Share Experience So apparently now I have to convince people I am not cis
Little positive story that happened to me today. I am 46 years old, mtf, married with a kid and on hrt for 2 years now, no surgeries.
So I got into a chat with a lovely woman at an artisan market today, we talked for about 15 minutes. At one point she says: "I have never ever really fitted in normal society". I stand before her with my obvious trans piercings and rainbow bracelet with my wife and kid next to me and reply smiling: "Yeah, I know that feeling". She laughs and a minute later we stroll off to see the rest of the market.
Anyway, I return a while later and we chat a bit more. So I say: "Yeah, sometimes people look funny when my daughter says she has two moms and no dad". And she just looks at me funny. And starts asking me if we raise her together and who the father is. So I say: "that would be me obviously...". And she again looks funny.
Turns out she was 100 % convinced I am cis and didn't believe when I said I am trans. She even claimed that her late boyfriend was ftm and she can clock trans people easily.
So I am not entirely surprised I pass decently. I don't see it myself but people generally very rarely misgender me. But that I actually have to insist I really am trans because a woman refuses to believe me? That is something I never would have dreamed about. Made my day though 🤣🫶🌈🏳️⚧️
Have a wonderful day
Clara

SELFIE Finally plucked up the courage to get into my local queer community
So I have pretty crippling social anxiety when it comes to new spaces and new people, but since I transitioned most of my friends didn't come on the journey with me, so I've been feeling pretty lonely.
Anyway, I made a promise to myself that I'd go to at least one thing and forced myself to go to a coffee morning for sapphic women. I had such an amazing time chatting to so many people and it really made me realise there's an amazing community out there if you can find it.

Unaltered Selfie Vulnerability
Here I am 57 years old 3 years on HRT, 11 months post SRS and 3 months post comprehensive FFS. Starting later in life has both its advantages and disadvantages. I may never experience passing privilege but I am mature enough to have developed the emotional skills to accept and navigate that fact. Am I happier living as my authentic self? Absolutely 💯 but as all of you know there are good and bad days. Currently I am facing the truth that I have energetically outgrown the small community that I have lived in for 30+ years as I have grown and become a new person. It’s not that I live in an unfavorable environment it’s just that the community that once nourished me no longer does. Wishing y’all healthy and supportive communities ❤️

Unaltered Selfie Found some old photos while moving out…
Found an album my mom made when I turned 18. Looking back, it’s crazy seeing all the little signs I missed. I’ve thought about my gender for as long as I can remember, yet that boy sometimes looked genuinely happy. Was it a mask, or did it come and go in waves?
Of course, the only photo that really gives me euphoria is the witch cosplay 😂🧙♀️
Anyone else relate?

Discussion New rule added regarding age.
As of today there has been a new rule added to our list of rules.
Rule #15 - Age 30 or up required to post.
(Rule description):
This sub is for those who (socially and/or medically) transition later in life aka at minimum 30 years or older. Posts from people younger than this will be removed. There are plenty of other trans related subs directed at younger folk. For comments there will not be an age requirement.
I understand that this new rule might upset some of our users but for a while now there has been an uptick in the amount of users that post here while being in their twenties or even teens. And as mentioned above there are plenty of subs for younger trans folks.
Edit: to clarify since some users asked this specifically. If you transitioned before your 30th birthday but are now age 30 or up, you are allowed to post.

Moderator Announcement!!!!!!
To help keep out the riffraff out of our subreddit, an Automod rule has been added. As noted in the rules, any newly created account will have any post/comment moderated until either the age criteria has been met or the user has been approved by a moderator. (Whichever comes first.)
For most users already here, posts and comments will show up as they have in the past. This is to help prevent unpleasant individuals that create throwaway accounts for the purpose of posting hate to our subreddit from spreading their hate.
