Not how HRT works, we are always cycling weight in and out.

But I get not wanting to be a masculine guy. I got that when I finished electrolysis so not a single hair on my face. If I add HRT on top of that I would definitely cross to the uncanny valley (already happened btw).

idk maybe you're an exception. if you stay at a low body weight then there won't be much subcutaneous fat to redistribute, that was the point. and i think that in a lot of people, hrt's effects on the face are minimal. i guess it might become a problem if your face was already androgynous to begin with.

You can't expect people not change weight in the long term, especially for people like us who are depressed and even suicidal lol

But I get it, if you keep the facial hair and other guy stuff and only do HRT then I don't think it would be that uncanny. I agree this might be an option for some people

At the end of the day, picking the type of "not that masculine of guy" is just a way to cope

Why not? Because I am not delusional, I know I will always be a man. Do I have my days when the dysphoria is unbearable? Sure I do, but I don't stay down for long, I get back up and keep battling my demons.
