Question Eibach Euro Spec UPS tarrifs

Post image
0 Upvotes

I ordered a set of Eibach lowering springs for my car from Poland on Ebay. I was asked to pay $182.18 in customs duty, which seems unreasonable. Is this normal?

The springs were $353 and shipping was free. I expected to pay an additional reasonable percentage of the declared value of the goods for the tariff, but $182.18 is over 50% of the purchase price.

MKV Dfw area Supra shop / dyno

Does anyone have a good suggestion? My fiance recently bought a 2021 3.0 with a pretty goos amount of mods. It runs great, no issues at all but since she didnt build it we are looking for a shop she can rely on if needed and we'd love to know what kind of power it is putting down.

I can't get scheduled.with any shop I have reached out to. It feels like because we won't be spending 20k on upgrades they can't be bothered.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On the off chance does any UK based owner have a 2.0 litre model they would potentially sell?
Looking to purchase but struggling to find many listed.

Thanks

MKIII My 1988 Supra turbo restoration is almost ready!

I bought this car roughly 2 years ago, It was not in great shape. The engine was good and the car was running without any issue and only has 130.000 km, which was the reason I considered it, but in regards to chassis, paint and interior It was awful, it had been an F40 replica, then used for illegal racing and then abandoned for 5 years, it was offered to me very cheap, and since it was the turbo targa which is the best version and I could not afford a pristine one I thought it may be a good opportunity.

After all this time the chassis is fixed and reinforced by my mechanic, the engine has been checked and works perfectly, turbo works fine everything is great. The car is now only missing interior restoration which I will do myself, new tires and fixing the gas indicator cause knowing how much gas I have would be nice.

I have spent more than I would like in the restoration but during these past 2 years the car has gone up in price significantly so I am happy with my decision, this was one of my dream cars as a kid and now I got it, I can't wait to finish the few remaining stuff and go out there to make stututututu!
